Decent hot noodle soup for a typical Feb evening. The dumpling is really whatever and it's kinda expensive for 10Euro...

I've visited this small restaurant without any expectations. I love to eat in summer cold noodles served with omelet cucumber, cold pork and some other vegetables, but it's not easy to find it. In Yi Ping they have it and it's delicious.Surely I'll back. Service was fast and very nice. Recommended

The food was good and the staff was helpful and attentive. We really enjoyed dining here, even our picky teenager.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant whilst looking for a Japanese restaurant in the area. Our hotel was close by. The homemade gyoza to start were delicious and very fresh. I had the minced pork and tofu dish with rice which was just the right amount of spicy. Very flavoursome! My friend had the fried shrimp noodles which she said... More

Our meal started off well with some fairly good homemade style Gyoza, but then took a turn for the worse when our main courses showed up. In my case, not only was there hardly any meat to be found in what had been advertised as a pork and soy paste dish (it was mainly made up of the soy paste),... More

It's a dirty little place with no more than ten tables. They do noodle soups. And they do it great, and cheap, no time for fancy hologram waterfall on the wall. It's that simple. Beware, your clothes could get a tad stinky afterwards.

At dinner time we found ourselves in Rue St Anne which is wall to wall Japanese Restaurants the entire length of the street. These are mostly rather cool places catering to youngsters and we are neither. We came upon the tiny Yi Ping which was the most uncool place we could find though the clientele was very young and studenty.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
