We enjoyed a good, typically french meal in relaxed surroundings. The location is good and the service was very good too. There is a good choice of sensibly priced wine list and the meal was good value too so would heartily recommend this restaurant.

There is a reason this restaurant is a Michelin star establishment. Food is elevated to truly fine dining

We were taken to this restaurant by some Parisian friends. A perfect evening. Booking is advised, the restaurant is quite small. The menu is limited but has plenty of variety. Alongside the excellent food (taste and presentation) is a great wine list. The staff have reasonable English and are helpful - so no problem for those whose French may be... More

I read very good reviews about this restaurant so we walked quite far to pay a visit. Did not expect that the waitress gave a very cold answer that they were full. It was not sympathetic at all and no any attempt to try to arrange anything or help. That for a restaurant on Michelin list, is the first one... More

Had one of the best dinners ever at this small bistro that serves up dishes best described as succulent. Go with the 3 course, the chief is truly talented and he and a lone waitress blew us a way with the simple, quality cooking prepared in an unhurried atmosphere. Service is not fast but the waitress does an amazing job... More

My daughter and I had an excellent meal here this evening. Sadly the current terrorist threat meant there were few others there to sample this wonderful cuisine. If you are in the Sorbonne area it is worth taking a detour down the rue de cardinal lemoine.

This restaurant is so delicious. The food is expertly and creatively prepared and the take of flavor combinations is very innovative. We brought our adult niece and she was thrilled with a three course fabulous French dinner. The prix fixe menu is the way to go . I had an incredible roasted rabbit with winter veggies, a lovely fresh pate... More

Fabulous dinner. Clearly, the chef is a culinary artist. We both had the fixed five course dinner and enjoyed the wine immensely. My food allergies were politely accommodated even within the fixed course meal. Exquisite orchestration of flavors and aesthetic presentation. This restaurant was a lovely surprise. Walking home after a day of tourist sites in the city of lights,... More

Lunched there wIth friends. The chicken was dry but the escargot was passable. Dessert was good. The service was good and the decor was interesting.

I enjoyed a good meal here with colleagues. The waitress spoke good English and was happy to translate the menu and to recommend wine.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
