It's possible to walk in and not wait too long if you like to sit at the counter. We actually prefer to sit there and watch the food prep. The hostess quoted us a 30 minute wait but in actuality it was only 5 minutes. All of our food choices were very good. I ordered the artichoke starter with chickpea... More

We have visited many different styles of restaurants in France over the last 20 years and we have broad tastes but this just wasn't quite right. The service was good and some great flavours in the dishes we choose. But the basement location, strange atmosphere didn't quite work for us. And the fact my wife was vomiting 12 hours after... Very nice place as the old atelier. Very good food, beautiful dishes. But very unfriendly staff with huge waiting times; about 30 minutes between each. Fortunate it was just a 3 course menu, if it was 10 would take more than five hours.... No water offered just like all stared restaurants in France, they can t afford to lose 4... More

I have always liked the Robuchon concept. The food is clever and delicious. The presentation is attractive, and the arrangement works well for one or two people However over many years of visiting in Paris and London, the service has gone down down down It used to be agile and funny and attenttive and helpful, but now the ambiance is... I was very surprised when I arrived that there was no English menu, as the website is offered in English as well. However, the staff was very kind and welcoming. My waiter was beginning to read every option to me in English, but I just decided on trying the tasting menu. I loved nearly everything. And sitting at the bar,... More

The best meal that I ever had. No English menu but the stuff explained everything in English. The food is beautiful and amazingly tasty. I had the 69 euro menu.

I don't know how Monsieur Chef Robuchon does it. How does he have restaurants around the globe yet maintain such a high standard of excellence? Delicate, refined, out of this world -- just a few words to describe the beautiful dishes served on the open-style dining bar. Order anything. Share everything. Talk to your neighbours. It's a very unique Parisian... More

We were spending my husband's birthday in Paris and I reserved at L'Aterier as we have visited the NY location (now closed) and were delighted with the food and service. Needless to say, we had a fantastic dinner, expecting nothing less from this Michelin star restaurant. Loved the fact that they offer small and big portions, so I was able... More

Book a table after a tip from a Bocuse d'Or chef for me and a few co-workers after a great trade fair. The food was really amazing! We had the scallops and foie gras for starters (small dishes) and then the fillet for main course. Then a mouthwatering desert. We sat at the "bar" so we could watch the chefs... More
