Dead tired from a day at the Louvre, the gardens or on the way back from Champs Elysees. This nice and cozy place is a couple of blocks away from the Louvre Pyramid. The food is excellent and the folks are very very helpful, if you don't understand what is on the menu. The duck and the bass was just... More

It is relatively small restaurant in the heart of Paris. We were there twice. First it was good luck. Second time we made reservation. And this is best choice. Duck and wine were perfect.

This intimate artisan restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel concierge and was within walking distance from the Hotel de Louvre. The food was true French cuisine and delicious.

The atmosphere here is great and the staff was superb! We happened upon the place while walking down the street looking for a place to stop and enjoyed a nice dinner here. Don't pass on dessert - once you see it being delivered to other tables you will want some too!

From the warm welcome to the chalkboard carte to the well-chosen wine list, this place is a hidden gem near the Louvre. We shared escargots in a rich mushroom cream, followed by duck breast in a sweet-tangy honey-lemon sauce and medallions of veal in a savory chive (cibolette) cream sauce. Both were cooked perfectly rosé and accompanied by delectable roasted... More

rustic, authentic country french food, where the menu is on a travelling chalk board (one in fresh one in English) lovely helpful staff, limited tables, I had the liver and mash, deep joy, and cheese to finish, with a bottle of Sancerre and a glass of claret with the cheese. I would happily return and highly recommend this gem

Almost hidden on an in-between street, the cozy restaurant provides comfort and excellent food. Portable chalkboard menus in different languages were a nice touch. We started with a crayfish salad (look at the picture -- lots of crayfish tails!) and a hot goat cheese, moving on to sea bass and duck breast (and its delicious sauce!). Too bad - no... More

This cozy French restaurant is located not far from the Rue de Rivoli near the Louvre Museum. My wife and I were visiting Paris for our anniversary and were staying at the nearby Hotel du Louvre. The concierge recommended Auberge St. Roch and made us evening reservations. We couldn't have been happier with the choice! The first evening we had... More

Our local guide booked this for us. Very little English spoken but we managed. Had the braised beef special for 2 which was probably enough for 3. Tasty especially with the side of béarnaise sauce. Not very big so resv. suggested just in case.

Fantastic authentic restaurant. Service is incredible. Menu is great. Try French onion soup, veal and dessert (all look great).
