We had dinner at the Equinox. Our choice was the € 27 menu: entrée + plat. The food and the service were excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and the waitress is attentive and always shows a warm smile. Even though our french is terrible (almost inexistent), she managed to understand us. Since we went there with no previous recomendations, we... More

Really good experience, was looking for somewhere to accommodate 8 of us, so we found this place, great! Best food I ever had in Paris after 10 years coming in here! I will be back 😉

Have been here several times over the last few months The waiter has always been terrific as they even remember what you drink and bring it without prompting. The daily specials have been incredible and it has become a go to place when I am in Paris. They have a super lunch special as well. The place only seats 24... More

If looking for a spot for dinner in the Marais District, Equinox is a good bet. We stopped by early (8PM) and found a table. A small setting, one waitress covered all tables along with one cook. The French cuisine was very flavorful, adequate portions, attractive presentation, and good service. Two Prix Fixe, 3 course dinners, plus coffee was 70... More

Walking through Le Marais this small restaurant looked inviting. However our table was very cramped and the food when it arrived was disappointing. My partners Lamb was good but rather too small a portion. I had the chicken which was, sadly, very tough. Would not return.

situated in the marais took the bad decision to go to the equinox. from outside it looks nice and the atmosphere isn't that bad (exept of the loud music). food: my husband had an entrecôte- which was average (is it that hard to cook a good entrecôte?), i had a chicken in a sauce that wasn't good at all. ate... After a long walk in the Marais and a great visit at the Picasso Museum I chose this restaurant by luck, I was getting quite hungry. The food was very good, served hot, service impeccable and the restaurant was always busy. Very cosy and I would definetly go back if in the Marais again.

Set in a gorgeous lane in Paris, perfect for people watching! Beers were reasonably cheap. The staff were so friendly and helpful! 100% recommend this bar to everyone!

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
