Located in a superb building, decor quite theatrical. The young staff was very courteous and spoke English very well. The food is different. The black truffle pizza was on the heavy side but the tartare of beef was sublime. Defenitly a chef with guts at the helm. Fine dining and utterly affordable.

Had dinner at the Dome - the food was tasty and beautifully presented, however, the service was just appalling! Everyone seemed to be in a rush and the waiters even hit the backs of our chairs, making the bags drop, as they were in such a hurry to serve everyone. The waitress that was serving us was also just really... More

I have visited this restaurant having a dinner with colleagues. Romantic atmosphere and good food. Nice people and service. At the arrival you have a wow effect for the location and then the evening continues very well.

This once iconic institution may be past its prime. The brunch menu was very Americanized an unspecial. However, the atmosphere is charming, sort of hippie-chic, even if a bit run down. Service was rather slow.

Nice for lunch on a cold day !!!, great decor excellent lunch. Friendly staff and the sound of the birds in the wintergarden gave the place a warm feeling on a cold January day.

I kind of love this place, especially for brunch. Food is good and so is the location/decorations. The service though is a mess. They are all the time understaff therefore you see all those waters running and super stressed so you're quite afraid to ask for things. This makes the whole experience uncomfortable. That's surely something you don't want on... More

Discovered the restaurant by accident. Had no idea what to expect. The "Dome" was full with a private party and so we ate in the winter garden. Had the Veal with Morilles which was excellent. I will return. The service was fine. I loved the atmosphere - lots of plants and birds. Very different for Paris.

Fifth visit over as many years and the culinary standard remains excellent. My mushroom soup (ceps) was deeply flavorful and the bream with spinach an excellent choice, as were the scallops and veal enjoyed by other family members. Passion fruit tart is more of a grenadilla curd on shortbread-like base...also wonderful flavors. The hot chocolate bomb with iced pear purée... More

Located in Le Marais Le Dôme du Marais is a former auction house turned into a romantic restaurant with a winter garden and a main dining space under a huge dome. It's probably more of a cosy place for winter times, but we'll try it out also in spring and summer. The service is friendly and good. It's a place... More

It was may be the wrong day but the overall experience was very poor - looks like something has changed there - not the same team. Food was average at best and the carpet wasn't even clean as well the tables. I probably never go back there.

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
