Very nice bar lounge restaurant near l'esplanade du Trocadéro. Chic lounge affiliated to relais & châteaux. Avererage price for a couple starter and main plate 45€ each. The bottle of champagne is less than a 100€ expected for 2 categories (245-280). Food is great and the ambiance very Parisian.

My Partner & I were on holiday in Paris for a city break, came across this restaurant in the Trocadero square, we had ate in other restaurants in the area previously and have to say this is the best! Great food, attentive staff, lovely ambience.

In dark shades of black, purple and pink Le coq is a welcoming sight walking in for dinner. With terraces outside for those who smoke or simply want fresh air, the inside is plush and comfortable. It is a warm, cosy ambience, equally good to quietly discuss business or to take your partner for dinner. The wine list has a... More

I was passing by and I get thirsty... Ordered mojito. Omg. You cannot even call it mojito. Tasteless, alcoholles drink, no flavour. Like you would drink sparkling water with some mint which you cannot even feel.

I called Le Coq and asked if there are tables available for three persons for diner 30 minutes before coming. When we arrived my associates and I, they placed us at a very small round table that couldn't even fit 2 persons. When we asked the waiter if we could use the two tables next to each other we talked... More

Nice location on Place du Tocedero. Menu was somewhat limited and not inventive but good for a quick bite. Prices ranged from $20 to $35. We ordered burgers which were very good quality served with delicious French fries. Service was attentive and very nice. Comfortable setting inside and out.

I have visited this place yesterday. At first, the guy who placed us at the table did make an amazing impression. He was very friendly and accommodating. The waitress however ruined the good impression pretty quickly. We started with drinks (it took 10-15 minutes for 2 glasses of wine to arrive). We have then decided to order some light bites... Stepping into this place was an experience on its own. They have unusual pillars of glowing pink translucent perspex and reflective ceilings which gives those pillars the appearance of towering very high. Kinda weird but cool. Don't let them distract you from the menu which is sublime. Prompt service and excellent dishes, classic French bistro and modern Asian tastes make... More

I had the tartar de saumon, wasn't bad but typical french small portions. Very good wine list. Pricey restaurant but good seating outside. After all you are in paris. Service was average.

We sat outside on a warm September evening and it was just lovely. The menu is not huge but everything on it sounds delicious. My husband had tuna steak and I had steak with Bernaise sauce and it was delicious. The staff were really friendly and the decor inside was very modern the outside was beautiful and had a romantic... Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
