Went there accidentally and I loved the place; their burgers are just awesome, they serves a great variety of beer, cocktails and wine with affordable prices especially during happy hours when you get two drinks for the price of one. I also appreciated the atmosphere and the welcoming of the staff. Great place ;)

Had a wonderful meal here this afternoon, we ordered off the specials and normal menu, had a lovely bottle of red that the waiter recommended. Everyone there was very friendly and service was fast but we didn't feel rushed. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the menu was a little lacking in veggie food, what they did... More

Had a late lunch here. We chose this Belgian brasserie because it serves moules frites (mussels and fries), which my husband was craving. The mussels were delicious, as were the fries (we shared). I had a sandwich "Brooklyn," which was a baguette filled w/sliced turkey, tomato, lettuce, and pickle. It was surprisingly good, and more than I could finish. We... More

We liked the service, the food and the location. The waiters figured out we needed an English menu immediately and things got better from there. The Caesar Salad and Pizza were good and we would go back.

American in Paris, quite hard to find good beer and a place to watch sports. La Gueuze had both, they pulled out 3 screens for the Euro cup. Good prices for students at any time, don't think I would go there otherwise.

There are so many restaurants to choose from in this area this restaurant is just not worth your time or money. We ordered their plate specials for the day and they couldn't even get that right. They burned my daughter's hamburger into a charcoal briquet, never asked if we wanted any more drinks, and were thoroughly inattentive while charging high... More

Great selection of trappists beer.We were there to watch a football ( european ) game between Belgium and Ireland. So we ordered fries to go with the beers ( and other drinks for the kids ). For a Belgian restaurant they were under par , soggy and mushy. Atmosphere was great though.

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat, mainly because of all the locals who seemed to be dining here. Beer was cold & pizza was amazing, will be back if we ever return to Paris.

Came here twice, maybe our favourite place in Paris. We only had drinks and some of the pasta, but still this place has the quality, atmosphere, prices and offerings definetly worth a visit. Staff is welcoming and humorous, and service is Professional. The menu includes great variety in cocktails, beer, Food and wine. The cocktails we tried were all solid,... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
