Theres not an amazing amount of choice on the menu (the five course tasting menu is basically getting everything) but it was all really good and the staff were great at explaining what was what: it’s a very small restaurant so book in advance if...you want to go (I was sat at the counter)More

Haute French cuisine in a casual, warm and intimate venue. Amazing food and excellent service. Very accessible for English speakers.

I’ve been trying to get a reservation for every visit to Paris since they opened. I finally made it. And it was well worth the wait. Eight tables in a very small room with small kitchen. Table was by a window with a view of...kitchen. Got bottle of Macon Villages. My girlfriend has a limited diet and the restaurant did its best to make her happy. The menu commenced with an amuse bouche of smoked eel wrapped in lettuce, pate on a thin cracker with pomegranate, and cheese puffs. Then: tomatoes and nectarines in oil and vinegar "soup”; tomato on soft crackers with flowers; ravioli with white beans; piece of tender fish with mushrooms and crispy zucchini and roasted zucchini; slice of duck with figs and stuffed figs with pate. Then desserts: yogurt, cheese and fruit sort of parfait with a tuile on top, corn tart with corn meringue, and finally, little madeleines and tomato jellies. A very spectacular and wonderful dinner worth waiting for. Service was friendly, helpful, informative, and attentive. I hope I don’t have to wait so long for a return visit.More

We enjoy exploring various cuisines in the US and when we travel and frequently try prix fixe menus. This was a truly exemplary experience. The quaint atmophere, professional staff compliment what is truly a culinary delight. The combination of ingredients is unique. It was a...highlight of our trip. We will definitely return.More

I dined at Franchie with my two teenage kids. This is their first experience eating a michilin star chef menu. We were blown away by exquisite taste and the friendly intimate atmosphere of small restaurant. I hope Chef Grégory Marchand would expand on his vegetarian...main course options with plant based protein choices. Looking forward to visiting again.More

I read somewhere that the owner just wanted to make a very good neighborhood restaurant when he started. Frenchie is not that. It is a gastronomic restaurant with a no choice (at least our night) tasting menu. The food was excellent as was the service,...and it’s a good value overall. I have been trying to get in since it opened and it took COVID to scare away enough tourists to make it possible.More

The reviews here are a mix of the restaurant and the wine bar, which is a separate place across the street from Frenchie Restaurant. The restaurant does a five course menu that changes. Our dinner in late September had fish, melon, and mushroom dishes. Everything...was incredible and the portions big enough to just reach capacity. Not too much, not too little. We added the wine pairing which was fine. A couple fun whites that did change flavor when paired with food. Service is as great as you’d expect. It’s a small restaurant with a cozy, romantic vibe. There was a chocolate lab puppy under a table napping most of our meal. Adorable. The neighborhood is very interesting as well. Arrive early and walk the streets before settling in for a lovely dinner.More

Frenchie Rue du Nil was fantastic. We didn’t have the highest expectations, as we thought it would be a bit overrated and touristy (they’ve opened a London restaurant in Covent Garden), but the Michelin star tempted us to make a booking. After a year of...living in Paris, it was certainly a highlight - and we thought it was better than Septime, our precious favourite! It’s expensive but worth it for a special occasion. Highlights were the tuna and watermelon ceviche, Mexican guinea fowl main course (with a taco!) and the blackberry/cassis meringue dessert. Great option in Paris for vegetarians.More

This used to be my favorite wine bar in Paris but not anymore! Huge disappointment for the wines by the glass. The chardonnay is one from the Loire Valley - yes, the Loire that is known for Sauvignon Blanc (Sancerre), Melon de Bourgogne (Muscadet) and...Chenin Blanc (Montlouis, Vouvray) . A chardonnay from the Ardèche would have been must better than what they served! The small plates were delicious but could not be enjoyed with suitable wines by the glass. Grégory Marchand - you must up your game for the overall experience!More

Pretty good place for regular French food. Totally overloaded on Sunday evening so be patient. Otherwise staff was friendly.
