We came from far away looking for Cordon bleu and we found this place. They were fully booked and we didn't reserve but they hosted us with pleasure! We ordered our Cordon Bleu and 1KG of steak. They said that it's too much food for two but we insisted. The food arrived fast and the taste was heavenly! After that... More

We ventured away from the square which most tourist would go. Just followed people a few blocks away to get away from the high prices. We arrived at 7:15pm which is later for Americans but a little early for Europeans. The staff asked us if we had a reservation but when we didn't - we asked if we could squeeze... More

Great food in a fun young restaurant. Loved it! I shared a 1kg of boeuf with my boyfriend. Great quality meat and deliscious sidedishes. Also, fun fact, the toilets have cartoons playing in them :)

Good food, from our childhood. Don't go there if you want a light dinner it's pretty fatty. Perfect service, they really care about you. Amazing burgers. Desserts really worth it. Only things to be improved: the space, we were too close to each other.

It's a busy, hip restaurant with unexpectedly delicious food. I had a traditional eggs in a pot dish that was divine. We all loved what we ate. The service was fine, if a little casual.

We were so lucky our hotel was on the samestreet as this gorgeous little gem. We got the real french feeling from the moment we walked in, and it is nothing like the typical 'bistrots'. The tables are really close and you can, or not, interact with your neighbours, and confirmhow delicious each dish is. Its home cooking with french... More

Made a reservation based on Trip Advisor reviews. So great. The staff was welcoming and accomodating. Food was outstanding, service was great! When we asked for a wine recommendation based on our tastes, they hit the nail on the head. Prices were reasonable and the ambiance was fantastic. Brought our kids & they loved it too. Don'yt miss this gen!

Got here because one of the people I was travelling with knew the place. Food is good, not spectacular but good. But the place is so amazing... it's a shelter of the 80's, plenty of picture of movies, tv series... so it was just fun playing the game of "do you remember..."? Staff is nice, there's a cozy atmosphere and... More

I went to this cozy little restaurant with some colleagues and was delighted since the moment I entered. Nice and friendly staff and funny menu. We ordered a couple of starters to share (they took a biiit long to come) and they were simple but tasted really good, and after the main dishes were just delicious. Le filet mignon and... More

A very nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The service is perfect with friendly and patient people. But all of this is nothing compare to the food: fresh products allow food to have taste and it is like a explosion of savour when you bite in it. Definitely a must go if you are nearby!

Once upon a time there were Alban, Julien, Laurent, Erwann and Nicolas five foodies, five real foodies, of the worst kind (the one that would 'kill' for an old-fashioned Blanquette of veal with some homemade chips or a sweet Tarte Tatin decorated with whipped cream).Five gourmets, basically amateurs, but who knew WHAT IS REALLY GOOD. Five nostalgics with bittersweet memories of their mum's cooking, simple and tasty at the same time, the one with real products, the one that you long for, the one that tastes GOOD... Yummy yummy...

In summary this is the story of five mothers' sons who, because they like to eat and to eat right, got together to give birth to THEIR own restaurant, the one where the food is SIMPLY GOOD. And if you need to check that our food is GREAT, those four mummys' boys invite you to join them at 7 bis rue Geoffrey Marie, 9th district. NB: Lovers of deep-frozen food and canned peas are not welcome.

The gourmet and authentic food is more efficient than whichever time-machine, and dives into a wonderful nostalgia...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
