I was concerned that in the bread-focused food culture of France I would have trouble eating gluten free. Fortunately I discovered that well-known boulanger Eric Kayser offers a variety of gluten free bread products in certain locations. I purchased a rice-flour loaf every second day...More

My friend and I stopped here for a quick bite on our second day in Paris, and the lemon tart that I had remained one of my favorite pastries of the entire 8 days we were in France! I also had a quiche, which was...More

We declined our hotel's breakfast and walked a block to Kaiser. Buttery flakey pastry every morning beats a machine croissant any day. And for a quick lunch, take out a sandwich on some of Paris' best bread.

The gluten free bread was really good but please be aware that not all locations offer GF. We took the metro to one location and they directed us to a different one (challenging for us as they only spoke French - lots of gesturing and...More

At least the best multigrain baguettes I have ever had! Visited it 4 different times, service was a bit disorganized/rude once.

I love Eric Kayser bakeries - the baguettes are fantastic with delicious crispy ends. I ordered a Mediterranean sandwich and lemon tart - both were great but I think the lemon tart was the best I have ever had. It is also well priced (I...More

This was my first time to France. We celebrated our five-year anniversary there. I am a big fan of croissant and bakeries! Eric Kayser was on my #mustgo list. I never knew baguette could be so addictive! It's so good. After we came back, all...More

Lucky us, one location of this famous bakery was a 5 min. walk from where we were staying in the Latin Quarter (close to St. Germaine and St. Michel) and it's a must try for amazing baguettes, croissants, brioches etc. Most people come in and...More

The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life,

by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
