If you like good classic, rustic French cooking , this small but charming restaurant is for you. But better bring an appetite with you as the portions are copious!! Veal kidney and tete de veau are a regular feature on the menu, and also the fish dishes looked fantastic. But you cannot leave without trying l'ile flottante de la patronne.! This... More

Excellent traditional food, venaison in season, out of the beaten path, quiet with a nice classic decor and friendly prices. Couldn't ask for more.

One of my regular restaurants in the area around the Eiffel Tower & UNESCO. Family owned, delightful welcome. Good value plate of the day options, very tasty, fresh food and a good selection of wines. Nice for business meals or for pure pleasure.

I was in Paris for business and I was staying at the hotel 200 mt far from this restaurant. We decide to try as we saw it was not a turistic place. The owner told us that only French people were coming there and the reason why none was speaking english. The food was delicious! Typical French cousine! I am... More

We were greeted at the door by Marie-Edith. The gentleman that waited on us could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The flavors of the food could not have been better. It was a truly enjoyable dining experience. We we there for lunch but will definitely go back for dinner the next time we are in Paris.

We were staying near the Eiffel Tower and were drawn here for the good reviews. The staff was kind enough to allow us in before our reservation time to relax after a long day touring Paris. The decor was warm and inviting. The menu has a wide selection of French specialties and they did offer a menu in English if... More

Marie-Edith welcomes you warmly at her place. Tables are reasonably well spaced, allowing for decent privacy. The setting has Parisian charm, not modern but bourgeois and comfortable. The 2-3 course menus are varied, with a focus on traditional French cuisine. I recommend the salmon tartare, the foie de veau, noisette d'agneau, carre d'agneau and oeufs a la neige Edith. Very... We visited Marie-Edith on our first night in Paris and were very impressed with every aspect of our dining experience. The service was excellent and the food was amazing, especially the potato dauphinois which was the best we have tasted. The price for the set menu was reasonable as we paid more at another restaurant on our second evening for... More

We'd read about the reputation of Marie-Edith's and my boyfriend and I decided to go there for a romantic dinner on our last night in Paris. And we were not disappointed! The mackerel rillettes that came as an appetizer were simply scrumptuous. The were followed by an hors-d'œuvre of crayfish and another of the most velvety foie gras (with fig... More
