As others say, this place serves food in crepes shaped like bowls. I got a soup, salad, entree (with pork, mashed potatoes, and vegetables), plus wine and a cheese course, for $39. That is a steal in this very expensive neighborhood. And it was all quite good and tasty. It wasn't a huge portion, but I have a pretty big... More

I have stayed in the Opera area for 10 days and tried a different restaurant each night for dinner. This was the best one for sure. Good food (but some of the criticisms are fair), nice ambiance (except for the sliding door that lets in cold air) and friendly English speaking service. The 3 course menu at €32 is also... More

We were a group of 7 having dinner at Pascade. We sat on the high table in the middle, which was quite comfortable. They had a sliding door at the end which when opened brought in some cold air, thus not perfect. The atmosphere and the service was great. The food is all based on a pie like bottom filled... More

I have been to a lot of restaurants all around the world and reviewed a good many of them, but I am struggling to find many good things to say about Pascade. The only mitigating circumstances for this review could be that we went there with three children (aged 9, 13 and 15), and we had had a long day... More

Cool vibe and amazing food close to the opera house and velodrome. Three course lunch for 32 euro and house red and white for 4 euro per glass. I would say this is a must if you have time while in Paris. Would recommend reservations but we were able to do so without for lunch. No vegetarian option - at... More

My friend and I were wandering from restaurant to restaurant trying to find something appealing and found Pascade purely by accident. It was Saturday night and they were booked up but fit us in as long as we ate in one hour. Boy did we luck out! Unique, creative and wonderfully flavorful pascade. Had the chicken. We also did their... More

We ended up here by coincidence. The food was originated from the south of France. Very special and delicious! And so was the wine and service. We'll surely return to this place the next time we're in Paris.

I was staying in the Opera area and had read about this restaurant as having high quality, simple food. I pascade is a French regional dish that is a slightly sweetened, flat crepe-like omelette. The chef then fills the omelette with savory or dessert creations - which is where the fun begins. I spit two savory dishes - one with... More

We loved this place! Went out first night and last night in Paris! We were visiting my college daughter who is studying abroad in Paris. The 3 of us really enjoyed it here. The staff is very friendly and very helpful in aiding with wine choices and food choice. The 3 of us started with a glass of champagne. We... More

Description
Alexandre Bourdas has adopted the pascade, a thick crêpe from the farms of the Rouerge. He has revised the recipe to obtain a crisp, tender and delicate texture, and fills it with flavour combinations drawn from his culinary experience. At the end of November 2012, his cantine- auberge dedicated to this rustic dish opened in the centre of Paris.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
