This is an attractive local restaurant. very vibrant. You will feel local, stay local, pay local currency and eat as much as you like but remember price is not so cheep. Difficult to make your mind what to eat, all menu will bring water in your tongue. So difficult to choose.

If you come from deep Sao Paulo state, Kentucky... sounds like the real stuff. It could be much better... They probably see too many tourists, have even a menu in Chinese... Average cooking, a bit on the high side when it comes to prices... but as you say "hunger is the best cook" its worth trying once you've been exhausted... More

We popped in here just for drinks, but the vibe was so great and the food on the other tables looked so excellent, we had a two course lunch! The service was outstanding, and although there was plenty to choose from on the menu, everyone--mostly locals--seemed to b going for the specials of the day. We followed their lead and... More

Very simple and attractive restaurant. Noisy, crowded, full of energy and ambiance. I just loved it. The onion soup was delicious. The veil very well prepared. Great service and friendly staff. Thanks for a fantastic meal.

Found this cute cafe while very exhausted after shopping at Galleries Lafayette. There's no many choices in the menu and finally i chose lasagna n my boyfriend chose grill chicken. Their portion is very huge (maybe because we are asian :p ) and our dishes came with salad (and it was so good!). The lasagna was quite good but the... More

We had lunch there and we were served by a very friendly (Jean?) waiter. We had quiche and tartare and some glasses of wine, fabulous lunch, typically French.

Typical Parisian bistro, not a huge selection but good value. I was travelling solo, but made feel very welcome upon entering. Lots of people about each evening coming from Galleries Lafayette which is situated right beside it. Very convenient (2 min walk) to Hotel Opera d'Antin where I stayed on my trip.

This place is what is. A small café near the Galleries Lafayette with decent food and cold beer. So, if you are a guy who has been dragged to the fresh hell that is the Galleries Lafayette shopping stop in and have a cold beer. Staff was awesome and funny when I visited.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch and left very disappointed. The food was just horrible. The chicken was incredibly dry, tasteless and definitely not freshly cooked while the salad consisted of limp, browning lettuce and tomatoes. We got the feeling we were being served the weekend's leftovers and at 53 euros for an unpleasant lunch with 2 small... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
