Intimate and attractive space including pop-art mural; friendly and helpful service from English-speaking Fred; very good, traditional French food: simple but not unimaginative and done well. Excellent value for money overall. Deserves more recognition.

Great place for a quick good inexpensive meal, even alone. Was placed in an overflow seat, people came and went, and your companions changed even though you were efficient in pacing your eating

We recently visited Paris and ate at this great little neighborhood restaurant twice. We wanted to try as much as we could on the menu. Everything was simply delicious. The service was excellent. Frederick, the waiter, was exceptional.

I recently visited Paris with my wife, joining Swiss friends for a reunion long December weekend. We were staying in the 6th District, which is ideal for those who like us love special neighborhood restaurants supported by locals and where tourists are few and far between. This small, intimate restaurant offers simple French selections prepared to perfection across the entire... More

Decided for a traditional night out in Paris with my wife. The owner was just opening for the evening when we arrived and noted it would be a half an hour. We went and had cafe and returned. Amazing place, colorful decor! The owner and waiter was friendly and amazing. I speak French, but he speaks good English as well.... More

Amazing little restaurant that kept a typical french spirit. The food is simple, typical dishes, cooked perfectly and products are so fresh. The service is amazing, the waiter which is also the owner welcomes you warmly, he is available for you at all time, gives very nice suggestions. Highly recommended if you are looking for an amazing little french atmosphere.

We tried many places during our time in Paris, and nothing compared to this place. The food was INCREDIBLE, and the gentleman who waited on us (I think he might possibly be the owner?) was very friendly and helpful. From the minute we walked in and he figured we didn't speak much French, he switched straight to English. He helped... More

.. that, regrettably, has been discovered by foreigners like me. Thanks Tripadvisor! But you can ignore 'm, because the place has a very Parisian feel and even naturally loud Americans (I am one myself) feel compelled to talk at this wondrously low volume that Parisians have made into an art form. What helps is the location: a not-so-fashionable neighborhood with... More
