Wonderful warm atmosphere after a long chilly day of site seeing. The Gnocchi with bleu cheese was wonderful as well as the risotto with mushrooms.

Delicious dinner. The waitress was wonderful and fluent in English. She helped us pair a wine and explained the menu. Loved walking through that area of town at night too.

Loved this little restaurant. It was just down the street from our hotel. Very small and intimate. Food was excellent. Prix fixed menu of 3 courses for 39 euros. Also Ala care menu. I had great french onion soup. Service was very attentive. Would definitely go back.

Sorza is wonderfully compact and in the heart of Paris on Ile-Saint- Louis. Sorza is a delightfully upscale, limited seating, Italian style, contemporary bistro with great ambiance, food and drink. The staff is typically French and they speak both English and French. The proprietor is Esther. She has lived in France for many years but she is from the Netherlands... More

We went here having read reviews somewhere that said entree+plat+dessert= about 35.Instead it was 43 E. Still... The service was cordial and the food exquisite. We began with a French version of a caprese salad, just because we were craving greens. It was delightful. If we go back, though, we'll definitely try their famous cheese soufflé which also come with... More

We happened onto Sorza quite by chance on our way back to our rental apartment after a long day of sightseeing. There was only one other couple there, probably because it was early for dinner by Parisian standards. We ordered a bottle of Cote the Provence rose that was excellent and complemented our meal choices: I had an exquisite dish... More

Found this place using tripadvisor and we absolutely loved it. We ate here Sept 27th on our family's last night in Paris. Every aspect of the meal was incredible. Every dish screamed attention to detail and tasted unbelievably great. I would recommend this place to anyone! The owner of the place was even the one serving us. She was so... More

Strolling around the Ile Saint Louis we decided yo enter to this place. Luckily for us it was empty since it was way past lunch hour. What a great discovery ! Our meals were beautifully plated and everything was delicious ( pastas and risottos ). A wonderful surprise.

Sorza is in the heart of Ile Saint Louis in Paris not far from Notre Dame. This Mediterranean restaurant is of extremely chic and of exquisite taste. Unlike many French restaurants, this restaurant never stops serving; lunch can stretch throughout the afternoon until it is time for that pre dinner drink. At the weekends brunch is also available. The restaurant plays music throughout the day changing the genre as the day moves on, jazz in the morning and afternoon and lounge music in the evening. The dcor is contemporary and eye catching with black lacquered tables, red walls, candles in little crystal glasses and subtle lighting.

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighbourhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
