Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I needed to refuel and let my feet have a rest after a long day of being a full-time tourist. It was well rated and close enough to Musee de O’rsay that I thought I would pop in for a glass of wine. I kept watching all this great looking food come out of the kitchen and now my stomach was speaking to me so I obliged and ordered the Beef Bourguignon. Super good - melt in mouth - glad I made that choice. Server was a bit of a comedian but not in a bad way and I would recommend to other weary, hungry travelers.

This place is always full so book in advance or be patient for a while and they'll fix you for sure-that's we did....Vintage decor, friendly and cosy environment and fine service. Serves a variety of dishes and whatever we tried was very tasty....

on one of our first nights in paris, we went to this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and seemed like a pretty good choice. it ended up being one of our most favorite places in paris! the food was amazing, especially their charcuterie board, and the waiters were nothing but helpful and friendly. the ambiance is relaxed and true parisian culture! we loved it so much that we went back TWICE in our relatively short trip!!

Recently enlarged, this bistrot is popular with tourists given its location. Although brand new the decor is fairly traditional with waiters in white aprons. Despite occupying a larger footprint the tables are fairly close together and noise level is high. Service friendly and reasonably swift. The menu includes oysters and standard dishes such as burgers. Good wine by the glass my duck dish was average. Kids friendly.

The steak frittes was excellent, cooked to perfection. But BEWARE the waitress will push “ café gourmand” when you ask for the bill. She will bring you the traditional micro cup of coffee surrounded by 4 or 5 sweets, including a crème brûlée. Very tasty but when the bill arrives, you will find that they charged you 26 Euros plus another 10 odd Euros for a tarte tatin. The café gourmand ends up costing more than the main dish: highway robbery

After two hours in the Musée d’Orsay, we walked down to the Rue du Bac, where we got a corner table, a super friendly, helpful server named Jeremy, who spoke perfect English (and pretended he understood my French), and ordered medium rare duck breast, crisp and crackling on the outside skin and rare on the inside. The Magret was covered with a peach glaze and accompanied with potatoes dauphinois. I only regret that Renoir wasn’t there to paint our joyful smiles as we devoured that tasteful duck. A truly wonderful experience.

Finishing up our France trip in August '21 with family. Good varied menu, even for the kids. One of our kids had been craving chicken tenders, and lucky us they had a large fried and breaded chicken breast for her. Good service, reasonable pricing. Did not need it but wait staff spoke good English as well. Large restaurant/cafe with good outdoor seating. Nothing too fancy, just good food Paris style.

We stayed in Paris for 5 nights and ate in a few french bistros however this stood out for being the best by far. For mains we had rump steak and fries, and the duck & dauphinois potatoes. The steak was nicely seared and rare in the middle and fries were crisp and filling. The dauphinoise potatoes that came with the duck were incredible and thin. Desserts we had the french toast (Brioche en pain perdu) and the crème brûlée. The french toast was incredible and the nicest dessert I had in Paris. The crème brûlée was big and very tasty and soft. The price was around on par with the other bistros we went too but definitely the most worth it for the quality.

We were visiting Paris over the holidays and were looking for a fun restaurant for New Years Eve that did not require an overly expensive set price menu - Les Antiquaires fit the bill and exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is classic French with a fun and cool vibe. Service was extremely friendly and attentive - even on a crowded and lively NYE evening. The food was outstanding and one of the best we had during our visit. Just a great place - highly recommend.

We are so pleased that we picked this wonderful haven to eat our final dinner as a family (with 2 hunky, hungry teens). All the prior great reviews are right on point. Arrived with no reservation - no problem. We were promptly greeted and seated and could get a flavor of what was to follow. The pork products appetizer appealed to all 4 hungry piglets, and with a cocktail apiece, help[ed us settle in. My duck was the best I`ve ever come across in years, and my son`s pasta was cooked and flavored in a very tasty fashion. Although we looked hard, we could not see waitter Renaud`s skates. Perhaps he has a superhero cape, because he is away and back quicker than The Flash. Once he is with you, he makes you smile, dishes out advice and tips and is the sort of waiter you want for every fun family dinner. My wife wanted to take him home, but his severance package would likely be six figures. We`re already looking forward to telling friends about this superb eatery, and we plan to return on our next trip. Well done and big thanks team!

The food at Les Antiquaires was absolutely wonderful. The prices were affordable and the staff was very friendly. I had the duck, which was cooked to perfection and my mother had the truffle pasta which was filled to the brim with truffle. Most definitely worth a visit!

Les Antiquaires was tastefully decorated with antiques. Nicolas, our server, was very personable and provided exceptional service. The French onion soup was the best we have ever tasted. The broth was full of flavor. The boeuf bourguignon could easily be shared. Again, this entree was simply superb. Nicolas said when cooking the dish, he advised to pour an abundant amount of full bodied red wine for the sauce. My husband asked if the tuna could be served well done on the salad nicoise and he was happy with the result. A crepe suzette was the perfect dessert to end a fabulous meal. One of my favorite Paris restaurants!

Les Antiquaires is a faux “ancient” restaurant, but despite it all being fake, it does have quite a good atmosphere. When I visited, there were a lot of tourists filling up the tables, probably because of its location near to a number of museums and art galleries. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was OK (pretty much the same menu as most of the restaurants in the area), but I thought that it was rather over-priced, again this is probably a reflection of the location.

We were 4 diners who had had high expectations, but unfortunately, not everything was to our liking. This is obviously a very popular restaurant, and the atmosphere was very lively, but we felt that it was too noisy. Once we were seated, we were given menus, and while we were discussing the options, we realized that there were pages missing in 3 out of the 4 menus. Of course, the waiter rectified the situation once we drew his attention to that fact. Speaking of the waiter, he was very friendly and eager to please, but we felt that the restaurant was short-staffed, and at times, it took a while to get his attention. Regarding the food, my duck breast was disappointing because it was tough, and my husband's steak was just average. One friend had the beef bourguignon, and she said it was just so-so. On the other hand, I really loved the Caesar salad, a large portion, which my husband I shared as a starter. The chicken wasn't the typical chicken found in a Caesar salad......it was breaded chicken, like a cutlet, and it was really delicious. One friend had the same salad as a main course, and she, too, found it very tasty. My husband and I shared the tarte tatin for dessert, and that was excellent. It was supposed to come with creme fraiche, but I requested vanilla ice-cream instead, and that made the dessert perfect. All in all, we felt that our experience could have been better.

Lovely early evening dinner at this left bank restaurant. There's a terrace at the front and inside a typical Paris bistro. Great menu with lots of choice for all appetites. Great seafood Waiter was attentive but not overly and was patient with our many queries. Wish we were there now!
