Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The bakery is worth a visit in its own right; the tea room behind is good for a light meal or to try a cake, but is busy and a little cramped. Good choice of fine quality teas, albeit at a price; our Margaret’s Hope darjeeling was excellent. One of us enjoyed a great sandwich, the other didn’t really enjoy a croque monsieur served as cold as a stone. A local peculiarity? One hopes it doesn’t catch on. One toilet for rather too many customers made for discomfort but if you make the right choices and don’t mind the prices this is still worth the visit.

For breakfast we had 2 croissants, cappuccino, and shared a small eggs with cheese. Service is a bit slow, so plan accordingly, but the eggs were nicely cooked and a good size for two to share, if you're not a huge breakfast eater.
We tried to go back on Sunday but it was closed.

Outdated service. A boss who gives orders but doesn't move to help the waitresses. A large hot chocolate reduced to half a cup (but not the price) and no apology or commercial gesture when we kindly point it out. Indeed, Waida is no longer up to its prices.

The windows of this bakery looked very appealing, so I entered for a half morning break. I had a hot chocolate with fresh baguette, butter and a tasty marmalade included (€$8,50). It was simply very good, just what I expected. They offered very appealing desserts and macarons. Very kind staff I met. The place is very nice, though a narrow tea room. Toilette available.

The quality of the breakfast was definitely not worthy to be called French. The croissants were immensely dry and the orange juice came from a box. The waitresses are too lazy to clean the surrounding tables and wipe them. I would not recommend this overpriced place to anyone. It was the worst experience that we had for breakfast in France.

Sloppy customer service, went in for breakfast and brunch - huge wait in time. Order came out real slow. The best was an omelette that was soaked in complete oil. The toasts never arrived and the omelette was cold and super salty. Even at the point of payment, they made us wait…
Way to go to lose customers here! I don’t think I’ll ever come back nor recommend.

Waïda, fifty years ago, was an absolute reference in Reims with few others.
Intimate tea room, good, very appetizing cakes...
Everything remained the same. Apparently, because we couldn't get served.... And that has changed a lot.
Between a saleswoman at the bakery overwhelmed by a customer who bought her bread by the slice in a humorous sketch style (with the bubbles, without the bubbles, with the skin, without the skin...) and that of the cash register in the middle who wandered without even give us a look.
Four lost customers... and disappointed by a lack of welcome.
We left after a quarter of an hour.
Too bad....

The front of the store is attractive but the interior leaves something to be desired in terms of cleanliness.
We still ordered 1 coffee and 1 Orangina. The waitress forgot our order... Without holding it against her, we kindly reminded her.
Except that she served 2 other tables (arriving well after us) without worrying about us anymore!
We were NEVER served!!!
We therefore left without being able to obtain our order, reporting the incident; the said waitress seemed to be stunned by our annoyance!

We stopped here for coffee and a cake. Coffee was great, but a bit pricey and you even got a jug of boiling water to top it up. Friendly staff.

The waiter was friendly but the food was disappointing :( We tried different type of eclairs and both were very dry and without taste.

The bakery shop is great for breakfast, but the croisants were finished before the coffee arrived.
Buy the escargot de raisin ... marvelous... but do it take out. Enjoy it WITH your coffee somewhere else.

Popped in for eating some cakes and having a cup of tea but unfortunately the stuff there told us we could not have what we wanted because they would close soon in... 45 minutes. We finally had the cakes in a big rush because a weird stuff guy asked us literally to leave because they have to close in 20 minutes. Other clients (and there were a lot) who popped in after we did were asked to leave. So you better come in the morning to have whatever and to allow the stuff to close the patisserie till dusk 😂 They really don’t want to sell. No we don’t recomend Waida at all.

We stopped here for coffee and cake. Lots of choice (also some delicious looking chocolates and bread too plus icecreams) and they have a lunch menu too. Great place to sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a delicious cake!

Stopped for cake and a cappuccino. Lovely selection of cakes. I ordered French apple tart. Very nice. Loads of others to choose from. Located very central in Reims near the Cathedral.

Great, centrally located, boulangerie. They have lovely patisseries and a scrumptious Croque Monsieur. The tea room could use updating but what it lacks in atmosphere it certainly makes up for in delicate baked offerings and sweets. On a nice day you can enjoy their treats outside, as you people watch. Bon appetit!
