This is our third visit in as many years to Maison Dallet’s shop where the most sublime of cakes and pastries are temptingly a short sigh away! Our recent experience was just as splendid as our previous ones, though highlighted by the charming manager who...advised us that a table would be free if we returned in 20 minutes. We retreated to Bouchara, a nice shop 20 metres away. Sure enough, as we returned our table was being prepared. Magic! We sat down and enjoyed, too mild a description perhaps, the gorgeous cakes. Our coffees were the best I tasted in France, a superb cuppa! This small, intimate shop epitomise the culinary excellence of France and the team who served us were a credit to Maison Dallet. We will come again!More

I’ve had cakes & patisserie from Maisonette Dallet on two occasions this year. What can I say, they are fabulous! I’ve had patisserie in many locations in France & this ranks as one of the best. Visit & enjoy!More

It was really busy and there was little seating so I bought a fraisier to go eat in the park and picked up pasta salad from Monoprix. The fraisier was delicious and had a unique honey glazed top.More

We walked into this charming place for coffee and croissants. I was so amazed by the creative artistic pastries and chocolate (and so much more). It was like a fairy tale. I got the warmest greeting and sincere service. It is a must see and...must taste.More

Very good selection of dessert and good café. Tarte framboise et clafoutis, exceptionally good. Figs ok.More

I was with a travel group and we were treated to a private chocolate making demonstration by Monsieur Dallet. We brought home chocolates for friends.More

Stopped in Epernay on our way to Amsterdam. Didn’t fancy the hotel breakfast so called in here. Good coffee, excellent bread, pastries and jam, beautifully presented by ladies who seemed to enjoy working there! Can’t recommend highly enough.More

The most amazing cakes, gateaux, pastries and chocolates. A huge variety of teas, an incredible selection of cakes and a pleasant atmosphere too. The nicest place for coffee/tea and cakes in Epernay, with lovely servers.More

We stopped here for breakfast after following the online trail to the boulangerie opposite. One look at the popularity of this patisserie and we changed our mind, it was the right choice. We ordered the Petit dejeuner with a croissant and pain au chocolat and...also the menu with a selection of petit four. It was all excellent with amazing service and a great selection of teas. Great small cafe! They have mostly cakes, pastries and tiny sweets. The selection is huge. But they also offer meat pies, toasts and salads. Most food is pretty good and fresh. But they could put some more work into their macarons, they were somewhat hard...to chew. The service is at times a bit slow, but friendly. If you don't speak French you can point onto the cakes/ pastries you would like to eat ( which is of course handy). I like that this shop is run by a family and is no chain, which is great to see. The place is also super easy to find. Just a few walking minutes from the big central parking.More

Oh my! So much choice. So much chocolate. Then of course there is the other pastries and gourmet teas but I was lost on my piece of blissful heaven and a pot of hot chocolate enough to fill my wife and my cups twice over....Great value.More

This is a typical French patisserie in many ways but the quality of everything inside s outstanding. The macaroons come in a multitude of colours and tastes, the chocolates are wonderful, the cakes in the window are amazing to look at and Monsieur Dallet himself...has the most wonderful moustache. The tea and coffee are very good and there are a few tables for lunch as well as tea and coffee.More
