We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, this was serendipity at its best. The food was traditional fare from the Tours: la cuisine Tourangelle. The food was excellent, this has caused me to completely revisit my ideas about French cooking being too fussy and reliant on heavy sauces. I ate here twice, once for dinner and once for lunch,... Good wine, good food, reasonable portions, what more do you need? Service was attentive, although our waiter was a little pressed to service everbody.

A good lunch on a work day, not fine dining but good regional cuisine, small restaurant on Tours Rue Colbert - many competitors but little competition in this area where 50 or so eateries battle it out daily for customers.

Le petit patrimoine came highly recommended and so we gave it a go, abandoning the plan to eat (again) at Le St. Honoré a bit further down the road. Our waiter was wonderful and that proved the saving grace of an otherwise very mediocre dinner. My starter (some tart) was barely microwaved warm; my husband's starter so average that he'd... More

We had two very very tasty dishes. Modest in size, powerful in well balanced and delicately flavoured dishes. Good service, topped off with very good deserts.

We went for dinner one night. Restaurant was close to our hotel and we were looking for something casual and french. We both ordered foie gras and pork. Foie gras was the starter with raisin toast which we enjoyed. Pork chop for dinner with some vegetables. Good dinner. We sat inside as outdoor seating is a limited.

This is a cosy restaurant with pleasant rustic decor, so don't expect a lot of space around your table if you are really looking for intimacy. But for homely French cooking from a very tasty menu, the 3 course prix fixe menu was outstanding value for our Saturday evening meal out in Tours. I think we were quite lucky to... More

an enjoyable dinner in a busy little restaurant in a popular street in Tours. service was fast, the wine enjoyable and there was a good choice on the prix-fixe menu. Recomended (and may be wish to book). Not open every evening.

We were walking on the old Street with some suggestions from our hotel but we were caught by atmosphere from inside of this place. We decide to have a chance. We selected the menu of entree+main course and all selections were pretty good, one of our party friends try a desert called Charlotte and was superb. Waiters don't speak an... More
