We have eaten here on four occasions over the last couple of years and it is always good. If you are tired of the usual French fare, and want a change, try this restaurant. It is tucked-away in a quiet spot which might explain why there were no tourists in there -only French customers. Interesting decor with carved wooden tables... More

We've spent a week in Blois and eaten in some great restaurants but this was probably the best good we've had this week. Sadly it was on our last night so can't return! We had a delicious salad and absolutely amazing slightly sweet chicken and nut pasty to start. (Pastilla ryharta? Anyway it was second item on the hot starters... More

The staff welcomed us and escorted us to the seating area in the back of the restaurant, a hidden square shared with another restaurant. We ordered chicken Tagine and couscous. The flavours were good but not as strong as we expected. The couscous was soft and nice. We also order the aubergine salad, that was very colourful, but was too... More

Tucked away in a little side alley just off from the Loire river is a little gem of a restaurant run by a mother and son combination. Their strong link to Morocco was evident in the decor but more importantly the delicious food. Was so impressed I went back two nights in a row! Excellent tagines. Light and airey couscous.... More

If you are tired of the usual French fare, and want a change, try this restaurant. It is tucked-away in a quiet spot which might explain why there were no tourists in there -only French customers. Interesting decor with carved wooden tables and patterned plates. Tables available outside, too. Friendly accommodating staff. Really delicious food - simple, yet tasty. Cous-cous... More

After a great day out we were a little 'chateaued' and ready for a good wholesome meal. That's what we got! Never having tried Moroccan before we were't sure what to expect. We both had tagine, mine with chicken, apricots and almonds was delicious and the bottle of Moroccan red accompanied it well. We were both quite full so settled... More

Sunday night in Blois and the choices are a bit restricted so following our trip round Morocco earlier this year and my own personal attempts to replicate the Moroccan dishes of the English cookery goddesses Delia and Nigella thought we'd try here. A couple of unmemorable starters and two unbelievably bland tagines followed. So if you're looking for safe Moroccan... More

Food good but service very slow! 1 course in 90 minutes is too too slow. Tangines tasty. One with apricots is too sweet however ... Staff (the single very friendly guy trying to hold it all together) were overwhelmed but stayed professional and friendly.
