We had a wonderful meal at the Piano qui Fume. This is truly a local restaurant and the meal cooked to order as you wait. The restaurant is small so during busier seasons it might be advisable to book. You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding lunch at Le Piano qui fume. We had the set menu beginning with the mushroom soup with a puffed pastry, which was hands down the single best mushroom meal we've had in France across multiple cities and multiple trips. The variety of mushrooms played together nicely and the puff pastry added a nice buttery and textural contrast. This is... More

Imagine our surprise to find this restaurant we had booked was literally opposite our hotel. Following recommendations, we tried it after eating the previous night at a more upmarket Michelin restaurant (no stars, but very good). The piano is really good and its key is interesting food cooked to perfection. My starter was crab wrapped in courgettes where the crab... More

Cozy restaurant, extremely good food. Delicious daily menu with generous servings as well as an a la carte menu featuring both seafood and meat specialties. Very refined flavors, appetizing presentation. Haute cuisine at a reasonable price. Also offers excellent Burgundies both by the bottle and the glass. Highly recommended.

For our last night in France, and my husband's birthday, we chose this restaurant because of excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. We had the three course menu - girolles, followed by duck breast, and each of us had a different and equally delicious pudding. The atmosphere was just right in an small, intimate setting.Service was a little slow, but... More

Trust us, this is one of the most special restaurants we've had the pleasure of eating dinner in, absolutely beautiful. Small operation, incredibly friendly staff and near perfect food. We did the full set menu, including the cheese - and left feeling satisfied but not bursting. Make a reservation, it's small!

We sat in tiny back side terrace, which was quiet and cosy. We had full 3 course menu, which was tasty some out of 6 dishes were even splendid. Only bigger set back was that the first course dish was wrong, which we noticed too late and naturally didn't reclamation. Even the menu was limited we enjoyed our stay.

I have been coming to Dijon for many years on account of my work, and have been constantly on the lookout for my notion of a perfect restaurant. Until the autumn I passed over Le piano qui fume, largely because rue Berbisey has rather too many second-rate establishments. What a find! This is a modest, shop-front restaurant with seating for... We were lucky to manage to book a table at the restaurant at the recommendation of some friends in Dijon. The food was fantastic. Will definitely visit again when in Dijon.

This is a small, bright, fun neighbourhood restaurant not fare from the centre of Dijon. It is obviously popular with locals. I arrived just after 1pm and was lucky to get a table that was just being vacated. It was busy throughout the lunchtime service, and several people had be turned away. There was an excellent value lunchtime menu of... More
