The restaurant is set in an old wine cellar and has an absolutely wonderful ambience. The waitress did not speak any English but was very accommodating in taking time to explain the best she could. We got two 3 course menu's at 19€ a pop. And they were delicious. The starters and the dessert was splendid, but unfortunately the main... More

Visited this restaurant on a Thursday lunchtime on the recommendation of the current Michelin Green Guide for the area. The main restaurant was closed, a surprise, as there was no indication of this in the guide. However there was a note on the door directing potential customers to another restaurant a couple of doors down owned and run by the... More

We went to this restaurant on a Friday evening in July. Rather nice cellar setting. We were the only guests and ordered a wine fondue and a good red one, roughly 110 Euro for two. The only disturbing factor was a radio loudspeaker next to us, too loud, too disturbing. I asked the (apparent) owner if he would be so... More

This restaurant was a nice find as many restaurants are closed on Sundays and Mondays in Beaune, a busy crossroads and popular stop in the way from Northern (Paris) to Southern France. The town bustles with tourists from all over Europe in the summer due to its central location close to wineries, canal trips, hiking and biking. We dined at... More

Restaurant's dining area is underground and it was the first time i have been to an underground restaurant. The ceiling is made of stone and you feel like you have entered in to a very old underground hall in some kind of palace. Specially this feeling was supported by seeing the old town this restaurant is located at. Food is... More

The wine and the food are very good, in a typical atmosphere of wine cellar. I live in Beaune and it's my favorite restaurant, I've never been disapointed.

This restaurant is in a cellar location and initially seemed to promise much. Unfortunately the food was quite disappointing - the only good course was a foie gras starter (which is difficult to get wrong with decent quality ingredients. Everything else was mediocre and unmemorable. Wine was extraordinarily expensive and did not seem to be good value.

This restaurant is near town´s center. It is nicely decorated cellar restaurant. This place feels like proper restaurant and not just another diner. Waiter spoke english and he was helpful and explained dishes when asked. I ated of the day dish "Roti di Bouef au jus Corsé", which was little salty. My wife ate beef steak. Main dishes was ok,... This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel. The atmosphere is very nice - in the old wive cave, very romantic. The food was mediocre, wine selection was good. We did nor speak French and the waiter did not attempt to explain, was not friendly at all. We took one appetizer and one main course to split. The waiter... More

This is a straightforward restaurant, with no surprises good or ill. We went there on a Monday night, when many of the better places are closed (avoid Beaune on Sundays and Mondays!). It was very quiet - worrying, since everywhere else was packed out. Why so quiet? We ordered the menu terroire, which did what it said on the label,... More
