My wife and I dined here last Friday and had the set menu - every dish was superb. Surprised its only # 41 in Saint-Malo as the food here really was first class. We almost missed out as we walked past it earlier and the fact it was empty put us off. An hour later and having walked past dozens... More

St Malo is full of fantastic places to eat but make sure you make time for this one. We came here for dinner on the last night of our stay and were so glad we did. Dining from the set menu for €31 (4 courses), I had scallops to start, beef fillet for my main and creme brulee for dessert... More

This is a traditional French restaurant, popular with the locals. My husband and I both had Muscles Marinara, and they were very good. I also had a Salad with a variety of crudities. The food was fine, and the ambiance (with the large armoire in the centre of the room) well worth experiencing. The service was not up to par;... More

We chose to have the set menu on our last evening as we had already had a large lunch. The food was excellent and was great value and the wine - 'Saumur Champigny' - one of the best in this region. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. All other people in this restaurant were french and they were... More

This was our first evening meal in 30, and looking back, one of the best. Saucisse starter was large and tasty, Good tart, very good chicken, ok wine selection. Good service.

My boyfriend and I had done our research and heard only good things about this restaurant, even our B&B owner recommended it. However, it was a little disappointing. I had the scallop gratin starter which was totally delicious! However, I then had the beef which was extremely chewy and very average. I then had apple tart which was very underwhelming.... More

This was recommended by our hotel and very close by. Pleasant room, good service, nice food. A little bit off the tourist path if that is possible intra muros. After dinner take a bottle of wine through the nearby exit to the beach and enjoy on a bench as the sun sets.

Our BnB recommended this restaurant as having fresh food at a reasonable price and it was indeed true. Our hosts made the reservation and the young man who was our waiter helped with the French menu. We chose the 30E menu with three courses and were very pleased with our choices. As the restaurant filled, we observed a table ordering... More

I hesitate to recommend this place for fear of it changing if I ever make it back to St. Malo. The first time, we found it at lunch, just wandering around. We were graciously seated in a pretty-much full dining room (very nicely appointed) in which we were probably the only tourists among a room of locals. The young man... More
