We went to this restaurant on the basis of other reviews, as well as sentimental reasons as our daughter is an epeeiste. The service, food (and selection) and wine (and selection) were superb. The restaurant is attractive and the central location overlooking the river is a plus.

We have been here for afternoon cocktails, prosecco on the nice terrace (albeit next to the road) lunch and two evening meals, the food is delicious, the service is good and it's good value for money, the prosecco they stock is particularly yummy 😋shall return

The restaurant is clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly but their english is not so good. We used the GOOGLE TRANSLATE photo app to read the menu and decide what we wanted. We got exactly what we expected. The lobster ravioli was fantastic, the fish and chips were very very light, flaky and delicious and the Caesar salad... More

We visited based on the good reviews but our experience was at best average. My entrecôte was not great quality and the frites were overdone. The bearnaise sauce was completely over seasoned and didn't taste great. We asked for a 50cl carafe of the house red and were shocked when the bill arrived and we were charged more than the... More

We liked the look of the restaurant from the outside, a quick glance at the Set price menu and, moments later, after a really friendly welcome, we were downing aperitifs while we had a closer look at what was on offer. The food was a real treat (try the scallops simply cooked with butter in their shells and the pot... More

A nice restaurant offering an alternative to the many creperies in Quimper. Well presented food from quite an extensive menu, expect to pay 30-40 Euros per person including wine for two courses.

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday night in early September. Since many restaurants are closed Sundays in Quimper, choice was limited. This restaurant had been recommended by our hotel as one of he better ones open on a Sunday, and was just a few minutes walk. Nicely located on the bank of the river, it is in an... More

City centre restaurant was a nice surprise. Smart decor, good food, efficient service and of course good wine. The starter which I think was called coquillages was particularly good. (Mussels and cockles cooked in cream and wine). Very reasonably priced.

There are set menu's, special's and individual items. There is an excellent selection under each, which will suit all. Sardine starter, Tuna mains and creme brûlée left me very satisfied. Mains and dessert left my companions equally full. Service was very good, without hovering. All in all an excellent experience, good value for money and a nice atmosphere.

We'd been traveling through Brittany and loving it. But there comes a time when crepes and coquillage just don't do it anymore. On arriving in Quimper, we asked our hotel maitre d' for a recommendation for some viandes. Without hesitation, he sent us to Cafe de L'Epee. The menu was impressive, with selections of beef, veal, canard, jambon, and couchon.... More
