Popped in for late dinner - was not that hungry so I had the formule of L'Amande de la Mer , on dozen of slightly bigger clams with one drink and chips. The only waiter was running around and busy but very cheerful and friendly. The decor is quirky and lovely. The clams, I am not sure it may be... More

It's a moules frites haven with fabulous hand cut skins on frites. We ate the moules marineres but others were tucking in to paysanne moules with bacon piled on top or even a curry one . The terrace is fine but venture inside and everything is eccentric retro. Couldn't understand the waitress's local accent but we managed. Basic moules frites... More

The place is quite easy to find and honestly I though it would be a tourist trap. It was clearly not with bunch of locals having their lunch. The food was really good. Portion were huge both for mussels and fries. The service was nice but a little slow The restaurant looks like more a tavern than a restaurant but... More

There is a difference between quirky/ kitsch an Junk shop grubby in terms of decoration and in this case it is the latter. Perhaps it was fun and funky back in it's day but that was some time ago. The clutter is just plain grubby, dirty and Junk shop knackered. This isn't shabby chic, just plain shabby. Sadly the food... More

Fabulous place for moules. It was packed with locals on a busy Friday evening, so obviously very popular. Prices were very reasonable.

Lovely restaurant with lots of interesting and quirky things to look at while waiting for your meal. All walls, ceilings and every nook and cranny had something of interest. Excellent food and reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful lunch here involving an impromptu bi-lingual happy birthday singsong, hearty food, great service and nice wine. It's good value and the decor is quirky and different. Definitely worth a visit.food, nice wine

A small unassuming street front, but recommended by Trip Advisor, my 1st Moules frites experience. They were amazing- generous serve, beautiful soup, delicious! Nice staff, best to book, we were outside and quite early so got in without a reservation. Fabulous frites too!

Three of us ate here one evening in early August, sitting inside. The decor is an eclectic mix of objects from a bygone era, but interestingly put together and quirky in style. Food was delicious and plentiful. My daughters had the camembert starter, I had the gazpacho - all were tasty and well presented. The moules in cream sauce were... More
