A little way outside the city centre but comfortably within walking distance, or just a minute’s walk from a tram station, this little place with 26 covers is an absolute delight. The neutrally decorated surroundings are perhaps a little bland and the background pop music probably not what you might expect in such a place, but the food is outstanding.... More

There is a hidden treasure in Bordeaux, an excellent restaurant Le 7eme Peche at 65 Cors de Verdun. It was a lovely 15 minute walk from the Theatre. The meal was exactly the kind of wonderful French cuisine that Americans are looking for (and isn't so easy to find), for several reasons: 1. The food was astonishingly delicious 2. Everything... This was the best meal that we had during our 3 night stay in Bordeaux. It is a short walk from the city centre past the botanical gardens but well worth the effort to find it. The whole meal from start to finish including the amuse bouche down to the chocolates served with the coffee at the end was superb.... More

Had the pleasure of an excellent degustation menu at 7e Peche while traveling through Bordeaux. Restaurant is intimate and somewhat contemporary, located conveniently within walking distance from central Bordeaux. Menu was creative and visually appealing, with several new twists on traditional favorites. Highlight was the chefs speciality - soft cooked poached egg with variations of truffle. Innovative and delicious. Only... More

We dined here with a group of five. The service was excellent, the food was brilliant and the wine was local and wonderful, although the wine selection is not huge. The decor is quite plain, but we came here for the food and we were not disappointed. Each of us could point to one of the courses of the full... More

Exceptional menu, food, taste, presentation and service, we were there with my 2 daughters, 9 and 11, we all took the degustation menu and the chef was very kind to tailor it for my kids, this restaurant is a hidden gem in Bordeaux.

I enjoyed the meal service and atmosphere. Each meal in the degustation moved like a symphony from one to the other by carrying forward the taste of one dish to the next. Excellent wine list not only restricted to Bordeaux like some.

My first visit at Septieme Peche took place in July 2012. Freshly arrived to Bordeaux, both with Annabelle, we had some gastronomique homework to do. As we ate already at La Cape and Le Presoir d'Argent, we decided to continue our research. And so one Saturday we met in front of the famous restaurant (it's pretty well known in Bordeaux... More

Small restaurant in Bordeaux with delicious and creative food. It was recommended in the the New York Times travel section. It was open on Sunday night which was a plus. Dinner was delicious and server was very attentive. We would return here again.
