While in Strasbourg visiting with my daughter, my partner and I decided to have dinner at an 'Argentinian' steak place. So, misled by the name 'Argentoratum' we picket it. Surprise, not Argentinian' steak, but an excellent French cuisine menu with an excellent, albeit a bit pricey, wine list.

On our only night in Strasbourg, my husband and I walked here for dinner based upon recommendations from TripAdvisor. The tarte flambe was incredible and so was the wine. We also ordered the steak and frites and enjoyed that. The staff was very attentive and patient with my attempted French. Very romantic place, would definitely recommend.

We made a reservation for this place, and the gentleman didn't speak English! We don't know how it happened but we were glad that they had a table for us when we arrived. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, the food itself was great and the wine decently priced. Highly recommend the chocolate custard fondant. The only... More

When in Alsace you must eat the local dish - Tarte Flambe Sort of like a thin crust pizza but really very Alsacian... Cooked over a wood fire but without tomato sauce found in pizza Consist of cream, cheese, mushrooms, bacon and onions or various other toppings like fois gras or truffles or whatever Really delicious

Love the food, love the wine recommended, love the atmosphere. Strongly recommend to book in advance or arrive slightly earlier, say 7pm.

We really enjoyed our lunch there. The people are real nice and the service is quick but attentive! The "tartes flambées" were excellent. It's a nice place to recommand, but it's better to have a reservation.

Enjoyed typical Alsatian dinner here for the first time on a crowdy Saturday evening, without reservation, the owner and the the waiters were so kind to find us a table. We liked it so much that went back the day after with friends, this time reserving a table. Do not miss the cocotte as a starter. Everything we tried was... More

The place fills up quickly after 12:30 and 7:30. I went for lunch and dinner on different days and on both occasions everything was delicious. Highly recommend the mushroom flambe. The biggest table seats 6 people.

This restaurant was recommended by Severine at Hotel D (please give her a free meal or drinks!) and she was 100% with all recommendations she provided us during our stay. This is a small, casual French restaurant which was comfortable from the moment we walked in. Our server (lost your name but the young blond girl), was helpful on selections... More

Warm welcome at arrival, good variety of choices (not too many), great entree plate and one of the best desserts I have ever had! Go for the Apple tart gratin!
