We had planned on grabbing lunch here and moved on owing to the slow service. We did grab a beer and soft drinks but it took forever to get the bill. To be fair the waitress appeared to be passively harassed by a gaggle of local workers that come in for lunch. They call her over just to have her... More

I've been visiting the place on a saturday evening following a recommandation of a friend living in Strassbourg. I guess it's one of the cheaper and more affordable places in Strassbourg and therefore very popular - not only among locals but also among visitors. Normally there's a queue which some people don't recognize or ignore. Waiting 10 to 15 mins... More

Going around Strasbourg we tried this pub where we had Double Cheeseburger and draught beer. Good spot to relax and chat. Not expensive, free wifi.

Came by this place after reading previous reviews - great find! Superb beer selection (although careful on the Trappist 9% ones...you'll be swaying after a couple) and a decent Pfannkuchen to accompany it. The downstairs morphs into a club of sorts later at night if that's your thing or you can just stay upstairs without being deafened!

Third dinner, the place is pretty but too small, the other close the cathedral is much more big, the food is good but not excellent, but beers are very very good.

The place as such seems nice at first impression and I have to say they serve nice tarte flambé and have a very good choice of bears. But the staff is not attentive at all - wrong bears, confusing orders, misinformation. Could really try better.

Rude service. Don't have the time of day for you. Had a party of 6 who were hungry and thirsty. Got turned away by staff. Turned her back on me in the middle of my sentence. Was going to drop 100€ +. Advice: Skip this place. Walk across the bridge to Abattoir Cafe, WONDERFUL!!!

Good for beer. The food selection is very basic, although tasty. Very cramped and quite impossible to sit at tables if you have just medium long legs. Waiter rather reluctant.

On a warm sunny Sunday, we discovered this little bar - that serves an amazing range of beautifully-chilled beers. Perfect! The three of us ordered the cheese platter (euro 14), and were struggling to finish the wonderful array of (nine) local cheeses - each more tantalising than the last. With fresh baguette and a simple salad, this was the ideal... More

If there is just the two of you, trying to have a beer in Strasbourg, this place cannot offer the excitement you want. We got only one menu and they had us waiting for the service for 15 minutes. The staff was absolutely not friendly. If you are a huge beer-fan, there are much better places to explore, where 33cl... More
