Former "Le P'tit Max", now "Brasserie Max": Extremely cosy brasserie in typical French style with very friendly personnell on three different floor levels and good prices, what made us neglect the fact that our tartes flambées came actually cold... besides, it is quite funny to watch people getting three plates of beef carpaccio at once pilled one over the other...... We stumbled on to Brasserie Max and were happy we did. We were seated on an upper level with great views of the street scene and the hurly-burly of patrons and staff. One of us ordered the Carpaccio of Beef "A Volonte" ("all you can eat") He was astonished to be served four platters of carpaccio as a starter! And... More

We visited this place for dinner during Christmas Market 2016 The service was very bad, the waiter was very mean and unprofessional When we left, our clothes and hair smelled food Don't be tempted by its practical location, because the service and the price are not very welcoming

Le P'ti Max is located really centrally, on a very busy L'Homme de Fer square, so one should not expect a super-cool restaurant in such a place. We went there for a dinner, ordered a menu. Service was a bit slow, one of the couples who sat in a bit further cornes of this not-too-big place even got frustrated and... More

The image on Tripadvisor is not representative of the current restaurant that has changed name and possibly refurbished. We arrived late to the Ibis hotel closely and was recommended this place as they serve late. And indeed they did. We had the Carpaccio a Volonte and we were served more than we could eat. The menu is good and the... More

This place doesn't do justice to the French cuisine tradition, avoid it if possible. We were walking around looking for a place to eat, thinking that anyplace would be good because... Its France! But not, not every place is created equal. The food was aweful, I ordered chicken and my husband beef, the reduccion sauce was completely bitter in both... More

We was wandering around the town and like the look of this menu. They asked where we would like to sit inside or outside, we choose outside and was given option choose any table. Yes this is close to the tram stop but they have done the best at screening it off and did spoil our meal. I speak very... More

Went there for late diner 23:00 but we arrived earlier we got table on terrace which is a bit noisy because of the Tram. But it still ok the worse is all the others stuff , foods very bad , service super bad. Foie gras pas frais, flamme kuche terrible , cordon bleu same as all foods we have. If... More

Nothing to be impressed about. Two stars for the nice decor and the reasonable service. But the food was so so. There are a lot of other places to try around.
