Had a fabulous meal here with a friend... chose the menu option of quiche Lorraine with salad to start, the poulet in Riesling sauce, and a rhubarb tart. All very tasty and accompanied by a nice house wine. Very friendly service from our waitress... she was lovely!

We have travelled extensively in France but this was our first visit to Alsace so we chose 'Chez Hansi' for a traditional local menu. We booked a table for 7.30 which was fortunate as by 8pm the restaurant was full. The service was provided by traditionally dressed ladies who were very friendly and helpful. The food and wine were delicious,... More

So disappointed to be turned away abruptly yesterday when this restaurant was full, as we had chosen it from the Michelin guide but had not realised the extent of the busyness over Easter! So we had our hotel make a reservation for today, Easter Monday, and this time the welcome was very warm and welcoming and the whole experience was... More

Super friendly waitresses in regional dress serving very generous tasty portions of local dishes. Right in the centre of picturesque Colmar near Little Venice

You can taste the Alsace here. Perfect choucroute with fish or meat. And servants in regionale costumes. Friendly service and excellent food.

We went here on the recommendation of a work colleague of my son who used to live in Colmar. Everything traditionally local from the food to the local costumes worn by the friendly waitresses. The meat on the choucroute garnie was a little fattier than most I have tried but nevertheless very good - and the onion soup was one... More

By no means am I an expert on the subject, but after 18 years of returning again and again to Alsace and all its lovely little towns, I've had my insatiable share of royales. It's always the dish I order on first night back - as ceremonial for me as it is traditional for the region. To begin, the bed... More

Nice quaint restaurant with some delicious food and very good service from the ladies there. We arrived rather late but managed to secure a table by the door and enjoyed our fare.

My girlfriend was reluctant to enter, I knew I was in for something good when I saw this restaurant. It's a very, very authentic Alsatian restaurant. The reception was perfect, we felt welcome right away. We went for a complete menu. No remarks here, good quality, good portions. I especially remember the atmosphere. Somehow you feel very relaxed, and you... More

Description
Two friends and I enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing meal in this typical Alsatian restaurants. Alsatian food is not my favourite but it was quite good. The decor was very typical of the establishment and the service was excellent. The waitresses are dressed in the traditional alsatian costumes to add to the atmosphere.
