Didn't like this place. It started when we made the booking and were informed we would only have a table for an hour and a half. Very matter of fact about it. Anyway we decided to keep the booking and ate there. It was like a creche with lots of noisy kids downstairs. It wasn't in the slightest bit relaxing.... More

As my title says, this is a busy little restaurant, so it is wise to book in advance. I have been here a number of times over the years and have always found the place to be friendly. The staff have been helpful explaining in English items on the menu that I may not have been familiar with and generally doing... More

We visited the Restaurant with 4 people. Service The Restaurant is located in the center of Petit Venice and therefore lots of people want to visit the Restaurant. For that reason the Service implemented a Kind of a shift System, where you have to leave the Restaurant after you had your Dinner. I understand that behaviour if you don't eat... More

This was honestly the best meal my husband and I had on our two week trip in France. The pork was outstanding and memorable. Service was wonderful. The ambience was romantic and cozy. Thank you, Wistub de la Petite Venise, for the experience.

The traditional food was yummy and the dining area was so cozy. My ham on the bone was delicious with a side salad and mashed potatoes. My husband had the sausage, sauerkraut and potatoes. Very hearty meals. The restaurant was hard to find, very close to the Rue Turenne Bridge.

We had eaten at JYs and at the Cocotte and wnated to try another restaurant. This was our choice. It was a cosy restaurant and we got there very early. They served us without bother and the food was good. Wine available by the glass and a good choice. Unpretentious, but very pleasant.

We stopped for lunch and had the worst experience in the lovely City of Colmar. The waitress had to be pushed to speak English, every time she returned again spoke only French. To add insult to injury the Onion pie was burnt black. When pointed out to the server she says "I don't know the word burnt" . Her attitude... More

We were here for dinner and found the food to be OK. Both my wife and I thought our meats were slightly over cooked and dry. The decor is interesting with many old artifacts hanging from the walls and ceiling. Our servers were not terribly attentive.
