Perfectly sized cakes

We stopped off in here for a dessert after having a main meal at another restaurant nearby. The cakes on display looked amazing so we went for them. My friend had something chocolatey and I settled for a red velvet cake. These were little individual...cakes rather than slices of a larger cake and were the perfect size, not leaving me still hungry nor leaving me feeling overly full (a common problem I find with restaurant desserts). If I had any criticism it would be that the staff could have been a bit friendlier. Maybe they'd had a bad day.More

Really disappointing

I made an order for delivery from Dessert Republic through their direct website only for the order to be cancelled without explanation 15 minutes later. After looking around for other dessert places I found that Dessert Republic was now available on Just Eat so I...gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again. I was really looking forward to this after seeing their posts of stacks of thick and fluffy pancakes they had been posting on there Instagram. Disappointingly I was met with the three saddest looking flat pancakes I’ve ever seen in my life. Not to mention they were stone cold. Moving onto the confusing menu. When ordering it’s not clear that the add-ons are not toppings but intact scoops of ice cream so I was left with said three sad plain pancakes and four scoops of ice cream that I didn’t want. For the price I paid I’m super disappointed and won’t be going back, sorry.More

Splendid icecream

We love this place. Friendly staff, lovely ice cream, nice atmosphere . Best ice cream we have ever had , great choice of flavours. Nice decor.

Really enjoyed the ice cream and waffles

Found this place on google and really loved the Movenpick ice cream we got with the waffles. Place is nicely done up and chap on the till was likeable

Nice Pancakes

American style pancakes with syrup and white choclate are the ones to get..big portion too. Cookie Dough is nice, would like to see them do more variety of cookie dough such as white choclate cookie dough or butterscotch. Choclates crepes are nice too.

Amazing place for dessert!

The customer service at Dessert Republic was fantastic! The food and milkshake also matched that. I had a cookies and cream waffle, alongside the Nutella milkshake, served in a Nutella jar. The Nutella milkshake was topped with a scoop of ice cream, an ice cream...cone, whipped cream, sprinkles and chocolate sauce. It's probably the best milkshake I have had, especially as the ice cream melts into the milkshake. The ice cream is also amazing. You can really tell the quality difference with it being Movenpick! I can't recommend this place enough so don't be put off by any negative reviews.More

Wedding Crepes and Waffles 6*

After consistently enjoying fresh belgium waffles with their amazing Movenpick ice cream at Dessert Republic, i opted to use these guys for my wedding. Great late night treat - best gelato place in Manchester

Went for the first time to Dessert Republic with a group of friends for the first time and WOW! Great service from the two guys behind the counter - really made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The ice cream was...awesome with some really interesting flavours - can recommend the cinnamon for definite. The best gelato in Manchester- definitely. Thanks guys!More

Waffle

I have been to so many dessert places in Manchester but dessert republic is by far the best one I have ever been too . Everything is always made fresh and each time I go for a dessert it's always perfect!!!!

Pancake Day

I went here for Pancake Day after seeing pics online. It was very busy instore whicj is a good indication. We ordered crepes and american pancakes, both made fresh to order and tasted fresh too. Reccomend the stack pancakes with everything on it. Grest smiley...staff too😄More
