Visited on Friday (16.3.18) and had stir fried scallops with cucumber, salt & pepper spare ribs and egg fried rice. The main course was something I’ve not tried before; I really enjoyed it, the scallops were fresh and tasty, the cucumber combined well with them....More

Visited the Yang Sing with my son after a day out watching Man United and staying in Central Manchester. We hadn't booked but were quickly seated at a good table. We chose a banquet from the menu with 5 courses, all of which were excellent...More

Looked enticing from outside. Very clean, spacious. Delightful greeting. Despite ordering food early others received theirs before mine arrived. Then the order was wrong. The duck skin was charred and the meat dried out. Vegetables also over cooked. Should never of left the kitchen let...More

Excellent seafood. The sea beef was my favourite to be honest. I liked it when the lady with the notepad said nice things about my three piece suit, she clearly knew i was a connoisseur of sea beef and sea dumplings.

We visited after looking for good dim sum restaurants in Manchester, but finding very little choice. This is only available at lunchtime (available until 5pm) but the dim sum was very very good.

Nice table waiting as we’d booked. Food tasty and served promptly. Drinks as ordered. Hibiscus blueberry gin was very nice. 50 pounds per head. Group rated at 4+ A Mancunian tradition. Think some of those other negative reviews are biased.

No words can possibly describe the food. Half cooked, poor preparation, no attention to detail, care or pride. My partner and I both agreed this was the worse meal we have ever encountered anywhere. I was charged £98 and honestly begrudged giving even 5% of...More

It felt as though this Manchester institution has dropped its standards a bit. The menu seemed to have changed, with no obvious veggie section (although there were plenty of veggie options spread out across the menu). The food was good, but it was a bit of...More
