Started going to this restaurant when if first opened. It was a cheap early evening carvery that was very good value. On more recent occasions we have gone to celebrate a birthday or anniversary we have been squashed in like cattle. Our last visit the restaurant was packed and there were 12 of us packed in against the wall. We... More

We ate at the Queens Arms over the weekend and found the food and service excellent and really good value for money. Two of us had the steak and kidney pudding and were allowed to help ourselves to extra vegetables from the carvery (as much as we wanted), and one had the full carvery. Highly recommended.

I really liked the food. Just one thing.. In most carvers they offer 2 types of meat, whereas here it was just a choice of one. Still, it was nice food. I'm definitely gonna visit this place again. Just one more thing... The mash potatoes were not really real potatoes... Unless they were just badly made. Still, good value for... More

The food in here is lovely, the staff are very polite, I've visited on many occasions, and always received excellent food and service, I really can't understand the bad reviews that people have left on here, my advice is give them a try, and make your own mind up.

I've been here many times over the years and have normally found it to be alright especially for the price you pay. Have been again recently and have found the food to be mediocre. The meat on the carvery is lovely and you certainly get a large enough portion of it. They always have Beef,Gammon, Turkey, Cheese Pie, Half a... More
