Came here to celebrate a good friend's birthday in a big group and we were lucky enough to grab a couple of benches. Happy hour on a weekend til 10pm is rare to find in town, and their selection was varied. Staff even accommodated my...More

We went there because of the positive reviews but this was a real failure- the fry up was partly dried out and the eggs not properly cooked. The pancakes were burnt as well- definitely not recommended.

Heard a lot of hype about this place, don't really see what it's all about! Dirty table, battered seats, dirty menus, food was okay but not a lot of it, and staff behind counter were far from helpful. Would not recommend

Have been meaning to try the Koffee Pot for ages, and we are so pleased we did. The food really hits the spot. Great quality and portion size and was served hot! Loved the urban feel. It was really busy we even had to queue...More

We stayed round the korner (geddit!!) from The Koffee Pot at the Travel Lodge Ancoats. So the night before we googled top ten cafes in Manchester on TA for breakfast the next day. We wanted a full English breakfast for my husband and scrambled eggs...More

Stumbled upon this place after staying in the Ancoats area for a couple of nights. Fantastic greasy spoon type cafe and really nice inside. The Scottish breakfast is just superb and rivals many i've tried in my homeland. Great that you can get cans of...More

After much debate on where to go for breakfast this place got the nod. We are so glad we did. I chose the Scottish breakfast as I've been craving one since I went Glasgow. It was spot on. The decor and the feel you get...More

This place is on my walk to work, so I drop in for breakfast slightly more regularly than I should. Veggie breakfast is great, it's not cheap, but it's not stupidly expensive. Great hipster breakfast joint, nice pictures and murals, good food, and they have...More

Having visited here before just for a drink in the evening, we decided to return for some breakfast. Read good reviews and knew of its long established reputation so was excited about trying it properly. Was certainly not disappointed and enjoyed everything about it. Great...More

This place used to be the greatest for breakfast in Manchester, now it's just average at best. Everything seems reheated and dry especially the sausages and black pudding. Come on guys get back to what you were!

I don't know about dogs, but if they are well behaved and sit by your chair, why not? Just be prepared to clean up yourself if the dogs pees on the floor etc because it would be unreasonable to ask the staff to do that.

The most famous cafe bar in Manchester. We serve great British staples and the best breakfasts, brunch, lunch & dinner in the Northern Quarter. Casual dining at its best. We serve booze from 10am until 11pm, we play BBC 6 music religiously and turn into an amazing bar in the evenings, serving the best and cheapest cocktails and beer you'll find. We also have a great happy hour 4pm-8pm each day which offer 2-4-1 cocktails, £3 pints and free snacks!
