We first visited back in February of this year after following Simon’s journey on Masterchef, and his food didn’t disappoint, we had the tasting menu which offered you foods you maybe wouldn’t normally try and it was outstanding. We had our 9 yr old son...More

Went with my wife to enjoy the 7 course grazing menu with matched wines. Knew of the restaurant but never been. Easy to find near Deansgate railway station and tram stop. Very welcoming staff, had a pre dinner cocktail which was very good. I chose...More

A friend and I had dinner here on a Wednesday. There were quite a few tables in including a wine tasting. We ordered starters, mains and sides and the kitchen accommodated a specific dietary requirement for us. Bread and an amuse-bouche were a lovely start....More

Had high hopes for this but left very disappointed. The food was nothing special, right from the off even the bread was decidedly average, with only one scallop dish standing out and even that was nothing overly inventive. Duck was a bit overcooked, other elements...More

Ate at woods on the chefs table having the 7 course tasting menu with the wine flight. The food was lovely with the scallops and the tiramisu being the highlights of the meal. The scallops were cooked perfectly with the addition of a malt foam...More

I don't think so. Fun but very noisy venue. Menu was interesting...one course was described as containing "chestnut" which I chose thinking it was chestnut (as in stuffing) but it turned out to be chestnut mushrooms which are not my favourites. We felt the menu...More

Efficient, attentive service. Arrived at 6pm and we advised that we needed to leave no later than 7.10 for show at 7.30 - no problems . Celeriac veloute velvety, pig cheeks so soft, mains equally tasty. The deserts were the best though - they catered...More

We visited this restaurant to celebrate out 1st Wedding Anniversary, and the food was absolutely exceptional. I had the Chicken, and my husband had Pork and were blown away! For dessert we had the Autumnal Mess and the Bakewell which were not disappointing! The service...More

The smallest 5 courses on a tasting menu ever. Poor execution and bad management. Try the French or tattu.

There is definitely a private dining room which would comfortable seat that number of people (and more). You might want to ask if is available and whether there is a surcharge?
