Went here on a Sunday afternoon. With family and friends. Rang them at the last minute and they got us in,which was great. The food was nice, though I was a little disappointed with the melon stater ( was a very small portion)soup stater could of been a lot hotter. The mushroom starter was amazing. The Sunday lunch was good. Tho... More

Mothering Sunday is always a challenge as everywhere is busy and staff under pressure BUT our Mothering Sunday experience at New Hall Tavern was excellent. We booked a table for 3 pm and it was available when we arrived. As well as the normal menu (including Sunday Roast at a bargain price of £7.95) there was a good choice of... More

We set out to eat on Sunday 5pm at our local restaurant only to discover it was very busy.My wife and I decided to visit the New Hall Tavern. We were welcomed by pleasant staff into a warm cosy pub on a cold rainy afternoon. We looked at the menu and specials board and decided to choose cheese and onion... More

We were visiting during works lunch break so had limited time. The menu says you can pre-order so your meal is ready when you arrive. Unfortunately the menu is not on line as apparently a new menu is imminent, so we had to wait for about 30 mins. However, when it came it was piping hot and very tasty. I... More

This pub looks nothing special from the outside but do not drive past! Great food at very reasonable prices, well kept beers and great service with a smile. The Sunday lunch was great value at £7.95. Well done to you all.

Called in here for lunch whilst passing. Nice atmosphere, good fire, varied seating. Small selection of decent beers. The menu interesting with a specials board too. Chose a couple from the starters, whitebait (good) and veg samosas (average), with a portion of excellent chips. Good friendly service. Worth a visit.

Thank Prudol
