We came as a family party of 9 and from the moment we walked through the door, to the time we left we were well looked after. The food was tremendous and all plates were cleared. Most had the Sunday roast including the kids and that was all fresh and hot, veg was kept separate so you could pick and... More

Myself, my partners and my parents came here on a Saturday evening to celebrate my birthday. We ordered 3 courses each and all enjoyed 3 glasses of wine each too! Food was lovely as was the wine and we thought the value of the food was very good as well. The atmosphere in the pub was delightful and will definitely... More

Eat here with friends in December, two of us arrived early the other was slightly late we kept being pushed to sit at our table whilst trying to have a drink at the bar. Found the menu was very limited and don't feel they cope with lots of orders very well food was reasonable but nothing outstanding little bit pricey... More

I booked a 50Th. birthday dinner here for my cousin. 19 guests (some very last minute), consisting of family, Chris's friends and carers, were all taken care of by Kim and her team. We we're all made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Kim also arranged a birthday cake with candles for the birthday boy. We all had... More

We were recommended this place by friends and so we went down with them for Sunday lunch. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the pub is lovely. The Sunday roast is spot on. Great portions and it was cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire pud to excellent and perfectly completed the meat and gravy. Well priced, great setting, great meal.

Stopped here whilst out on our bikes to see if we could get lunch. Have cycled past many times but never stopped. Well it was fantastic. Beautiful decor, really cosy and welcoming. Was told that we could have a roast or a baguette, this was great as we we're always after a 'lighter bites when we're on the bikes and... More

We regularly eat at The Cock Horse in and our recent visit was as great as ever. We called in for a last minute evening meal and were not disappointed - great service, value and quality as always. Highly recommended.

We got lost looking for the Black-horse Inn and went into the Cock Horse Pub for directions. We check into our location and then went back to the Cock Horse for dinner, the food is great. Next time we will stay here.
