We find Zizzi is not the cheapest place to eat. I had a spaghetti bolongnaise which costs about £15, when it was served you find you have more spaghetti pasta than bolognaise sauce. It was tasty though. My husband chose a special on the menu, lamb skwers with a side salad, his dish was a similar price, it was served... More

When you sell pasta for £10 plus a meal it best be good and the service 2nd to none. Unfortuantly the food was average and the service was just about ok. The highlight was the server gave my kids some honeycomb to eat while we had coffee.

A group of six friends met up for a reunion and an afternoon of theatre, followed by dinner here. We were impressed by the TripAdvisor reviews and thought we'd have a great time here. How wrong we were! Aside from being caught in some unprofessional cross fire between the staff, the food and service was appalling. We didn't get any... More

I love Zizzi, but the service was dire. We went on Saturday 29th April. Booked in for 6.15, but got there at just after 6. We stood for 10 mins before we were acknowledged. Staff walked by without a word or smile. It was busy - clearly people went for pre-show meals. I could only count 3 waitresses and a... More

I love Zizzi, I am a big fan of the food. But service is a huge part of the experience. We went on Saturday 29th April at 1815. It was a faily busy time (the whole of the top of the restaurant was empty) as it was just before theatre kick off time. We stood for nearly 10 minutes to... More

My wife and I visited Zizzi, before going to the theatre, nice greeting on entrance and could choose where to sit, not cramped in and overall the appearance of the venue good. Staff asked us what we would like to drink and eat, we had the mini soul breads as starters - 4 per person, good in size but an... More

Sunday early evening meal for two. There were a few tables that had punters on so pretty empty as it's quite a large open space. Nice greeting when we arrived but overall the service was pretty non attentive... waited a while before food and drinks order was taken and it took a while for it to show up... . The... More

Pre Theatre meal - we went earlish -6pm on Easter Monday, place was empty, manager let us sit where we wanted, service started off good, very attentive and quick to come back. Garlic ball things were lovely with the butter and oil and balsamic, mains were delivered very quickly afterward. I had the oven baked penne Della casa and it... More

Nice ambiance, pleasant staff, limited menu, but a decent enough choice and £80 for 3 courses and wine for 2.
