This has to be one of the most Premier places to eat during the day situated near Stow on the Wold. I love the cafe and have eaten lunch there a few times . Service is excellent. We had coffee there last week and it was good to have real coffee which is also decaffeinated. Every visitor to Daylesford must... More

We visited the cafe for brunch on 16th March. The surroundings and food lived up to expectations but the service was terrible. It took far too long for our food to come and when it did they forgot half of our order. The cafe wasn't busy (despite it being Cheltenham Festiva week), so no excuses for such poor service.

Visited for breakfast, service was prompt and seated on arrival , short wait for food . Cooked breakfast good quality however overpriced at £14.00. Small point however knifes are nothing more than butter knives impossible to cut through anything had to ask for an alternative. Visited shop after beautiful presented but incredibly overpriced.

We arrived around 14:00 on a Sunday and the dining room was quiet full. Seated in the conservatory we ordered a pasta and pizza. The pizza was good but the pasta was delicious. Deserts were too tempting but a poached pear with ice cream was a good light choice. Lovely shop attached which is being expanded.

great fun for a lunch, and very sociable as we got to talk and compare food with strangers and the tables next to us. The place is very popular, and so can get very busy, not the most relaxing of lunches, but certainly we will be going back on our next visit to Dalesford.

This is a very nice place to go to once for the experience! Over priced and definately a triumph of marketing over value .

We ate in the Trough restaurant where the food was gorgeous and there was a lovely bustling atmosphere. The waiting staff were all delightful. I ate eggs Benedict followed by treacle tart and clotted cream and a glass of wine - price £30 each including tip. It was worth it!

Our first visit and the layout of the shop and cafe is impressive and stylish. We had breakfast. Good eggs and orange juice but coffees were lukewarm - we ordered a second cup for our Mother but it was not very hot again and her bacon very tough - tasted like it had been cooked the day before and heated... I am a regular customer at Daylesford farm shop, I live locally and have been coming to Daylesford cafe with local friends since the day it opened and have always enjoyed the food. I attend the cookery school and the hay barn and I know most of the regular waiters in the cafe.... however, I had been wanting to try... More

Visited here today for the first time with my parents. Enjoyed a coffee and bite to eat, and wander around, but incredibly expensive. The food, groceries, antiques and clothes all 2 or 3 times what we expected to pay.
