Almost a hour to be seated then kept waiting on stairs because tables were not cleared. Two "suits" arrived after ten minutes then things were back to full swing. Need to stagger breaks for the guys in charge. Food excellent as always, service slow which...More

Absolutely delicious tea and scones in a lovely setting. Staff really charming and knowledgeable when discussing the story of Betty's tea rooms and the general history of Harrogate.

Betty's Cafe is renowned and with good reason. This was my first visit in years and it is just as wonderful as ever. We had a wonderful chicken salad and far too many cakes, all of which were outstanding. The atmosphere and decor are delightful...More

Every time I visit my girlfriend in England we always make sure to go here. Staff is very friendly, and the food is amazing. Their afternoon tea is incredible.

A little disappointed for the price. Long queues to get in. I think it has become a little commercialised

I can't really add to the superlatives which others have written about Betty's, other than to say I wish we had one in Chelmsford !!

Not sure but the staff are very polite and accommodating so ask someone when you're there or phone before you go.

I don't think you can book for the cafe or restaurant. Maybe for the tea in the upstairs lounge.
