I am from Bray and have been a customer a long time. However no masks or gloves worn by staff, which while not mandatory are strongly advised by the HSE where social distancing is difficult which it is in a small chipper. The ice cream...store next door have both masks and gloves as do Mcdonalds. Friendly staff and great food but need better covid safety measures. 30More

Nice chips at a reasonable price. I do recommend. Fish is worth a try as I had some before covid and I enjoyed it. Will be back.

Cassoni’s have been on the seafront in Bray for years. It was an old style chipper with eat in service as well as take away on the ground floor. They remodelled it a few years back and now the take away is on the street...level with the dine in on the first floor. The restaurant is now more comfortable and modern but the fish and chips are as good as ever. Nice staff too.More

Definitely great spot for fish&chips! In my case it was scampi and chips! Hands down one of the best I ever had. Batter so crispy and light, prawns so fresh and sure best chips in town. And can not mention friendly customer service too ✨.

A fairly regular user. Great food and great views in restaurant Happy to recommend. The take away downstairs is obviously better value for money so on a nice day get a take away and sit by the sea

We had the Cod and chips. Not good. Flavorless. Breading was soggy in spots. Fries were undercooked. Mushy peas were great however. The credit card machine was down, which they didn't tell us before we ordered, so we had to use the atm outside to...get cash. You will get killed on the conversion. Service was slow and has to go up to the counter to request our bill even though they had cleared our table several minutes earlier. Bray is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. There are far better food options available there than this one.More

After doing the Bray Cliff Walk (and back!) we treated ourselves to fish and chips in Cassonis, and what a treat it was! The batter was light and crisp, and the thick wedge of fish was fresh and flakey. The chips were chunky an cooked...to perfection. And what’s more, it wasn’t greasy which you often find with fish and chips. Oh and the homemade mushy peas were lovely. Definitely worth a trip to Cassonis!More

This is a traditional chipper with a take away and sit down area both serving essentially the same meals. Service is fairly prompt and prices are very reasonable. They do great battered sausages.
