We were on an overnight stay and dined in this lovely restaurant. I had been advised of gluten free diet and they had adaptions available and gluten free options on the menu. Would thoroughly recommend for a treat.

I have been coming here for over ten years and it has without exception always exceeded expectations. Both the tasting menu and regular menus always provide a seasonally refreshing taste. The wild game is especially good. The chocolate tasting plate and freshly made sorbets always delight. If I have a special occasion this is where I choose to go!

It's a good place to have a cool and safe stay. It's located in the heart of city and have easy access for transport. Front office Bittu, has rendered good services

We picked the Strawberry Tree based on promises of fresh, organic food on the website and high reviews on TripAdvisor. We were very disappointed in every way possible, including the food and the service. The issues with service started from our arrival. We were not staying at Macreddin Village, which seemed to confound the staff even though we had a... More

Had dinner on bank holiday Monday night , the restaurant was busy , a good sign . We had scallops & home smoked salmon to start . For mains fillet of beef and brill were also excellent. Service was very good and we look forward to returning in the near future!! Keep up the high standards!

It may be organic but not fine dining as expected. I wanted to try this restaurant for a long time and I was very disappointed. Perhaps I expected and hoped for much higher standard of food and cooking. Not for me.

I ate here in August 2016 while staying at the Brooklodge Hotel with my wife. The food was excellent and food of this category falls into fine dining. Every mouthful was a pleasure and I would have no hesitation in recommending this for a special event. You can do a set menu or a tasting menu and I'd suggest the... More

I was looking for a cozy place in between Glendalough and Dublin, and somehow this one popped up. As my companion eats gluten free we informed the staff, who promptly confirmed her menu would be adapted to gluten free ingredients and the staff brought gluten free bread. The menu and quality of the food are top, the wine list excellent... More

I had been looking forward to trying out the Strawberry Tree for a while. So when we finally headed down, we opted for the tasting menu. Every single course was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The atmosphere and the surrounds of Brooklodge epitomize pure relaxation. With the wilds of Wicklow all around and the luxury of a fully organic... More
