Great location between town centre and the harbour. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Bedroom was a bit warm even with window open, but weather was hotter than usual at the time. Dinner food was good, breakfast was excellent. Recommend the full Irish, the half Halpin...and the pancakes. All food was beautifully presented as well as being tasty. Bar prices very reasonable.More

4 of us ate here for dinner and to be honest the food was pretty disappointing. The wings were probably the nicest part. Prawn starter was only lukewarm and definitely frozen prawns. Scampi for mains was tasteless, again out of a frozen packet. Would not...b returning for food until they get a proper chef & fresh ingredients. Food was not cheap. Staff were friendly.More

Family of 3 ate here this evening in the courtyard area. We are in holiday in the area and this was a gem find. First off, the staff are a credit to the establishment, everyone we met was friendly but professional and clearly happy in...their jobs. The place felt so safe, excellent social distancing in place and all staff in face coverings. The food was absolutely divine. I had the scampi (see photo) and the taste and presentation were one of the best I've ever had. The other 2 people with me had the ribs and thought they were amazing too. We paid €56 for 3 meals and 3 drinks and that was a fair price for the outstanding service/food/experience we had. Well done to staff and management, keep it up!More

Stayed for a night at the bridge tavern, the room was fantastic, the bed was so comfy had a great sleep, while the atmosphere was brilliant there was a great buzz the food was left wanting. My steak was quite poor quality and very chewy...and the breakfast was very overpriced, pudding was burnt and got a handful of fried potatoes as well a baseball of a hard poached egg. I was hoping to say it to the breakfast staff but they were chatting behind the counter and the manager was busy making herself a rather complex iced coffee. Would stay again but hoping the food would be better.More

Hi just came back from a night away with my hubby in the Bridge Tavern in Wicklow.on arrival we were greeted my a lovely Gentleman who gave us our room key and all the details we needed for our stay.It was very obvious that all...the covid restrictions were being adhered to.Our room I have to say was immaculately clean and fresh. We had Dinner and breakfast here which were both beautiful one of the lovely staff members made me a mocktail made with mangoes it was amazing.cant speak highly enough of all the staff nothing was to much trouble. The only thing I would say is if you have young children ask for a room at the back because it can be quiet noisy at night with the outdoor drinking but other then that its an amazing place to stay and we will definitely be back.More

During our first 'Staycation', myself and the Mrs stayed at the Bridge Tavern for one night. The Covid 19 measures were clearly being enforced, with a delightful young lady donning a face shield upon our arrival. Our room was clean, tidy, and had everything we...needed to ensure a pleasant stay. We were on route to the North so opted to eat dinner in the Bridge Tavern and have an early night. The meal did not disappoint, and neither did the service. The same experience was replicated for breakfast the following morning. We would be hard pressed to find anything to complain about, a lovely spot in the heart of Wicklow.More

On the 28th August paid €11 for a full Irish breakfast. Got 1 x baby potatoe sliced and fried, 1 x egg, 2 x very small well cooked rashers, over cooked very thinly sliced black and white pudding, a few small tomatoes, some mushrooms, a...slice of bread, and tea. The tea was hot, the rest mildley warm. Was going to stay the night but at €90 I just wouldn't pay, rather travel to and from Wicklow Town on the same day.More

Myself and my husband were on a few days holidays this week in Wicklow and we went for lunch in The Bridge on Thursday and we returned on Saturday for dinner as we were so impressed with the food! Our waitress was Jade she was-...so pleasant, chatty and friendly especially in this time when everything is so different dining out and places can be impersonal. The Bridge was lively and buzzy - yet we felt safe and well looked after. Food was amazing! We had chicken wings - to die for!! Thai red curry - best I’ve had in a long time - Lemon Tart and Eton Mess - homemade desserts - delicious. If your in Wicklow Town - definitely make your way down here - you won’t be disappointed. This will become a regular spot for us next time we are down here in our holiday home!!More

Front of house appeared very professional giving the illusion of top rated restaurant. A starter arrived after the main course. A vegetarian pasta dish ordered, arrived as a chicken pasta dish. A 2nd vegetarian dish was ordered and again a chicken dish arrived, possibly the...same one. A final bill presented included all dishes that were ordered with no discount. After the bill was paid, desserts were offered 'on the house'More
