Excellent restaurant with top class food and service. We have eaten here many times and it’s always been fab. They have tapas style food that you won’t get anywhere else in Wicklow. Great also for breakfast
Have spent the week thinking of any negatives and there isnt one. Met with friends for a double birthday celebration, we wanted to order one of everything but the staff advised against, saying it would be an awful lot of food, so we ordered two...platters to start with and then chose two each off the gorgeous menu it was extremelydifficult to chose as the menu is tantalising. The staff were fantastic and very attentive, the ambulance was perfect and the food was absolutely delicious, it's the best place I've been in, in Wicklow and I will definitely be returning next month.More
Myself and a group of friends decided to go to Sorrel and Eve for a 50th birthday meal last night. The food was stupendous. We found everything to be seasoned perfectly and there wasn’t a single dish of the many we ordered (I think we...missed two or three things off the menu only) that wasn’t delicious! Nothing fell short! Fabulous meal. It’s more a tapas type restaurant where you order plates and share. We left busting at the seams and the prices are incredibly good. Can’t recommend highly enough! Wish we had discovered it sooner.More
Amazing food staff and service. One of the nicest meals ever! We were a party of 6 so we got to try pretty much all the dishes. Empty plates all around. Good quality ingredients incredible flavours and clearly very talented chefs! Reasonably priced. Location lovely...too. Staff just lovely. We will return for the next birthday celebration for sure!!More
Recommend this fabulous eatery in pretty Wicklow Town for fabulous tasty food & friendly atmosphere. Great gem found on our seaside holidays. Well done.
I was pleased to have come across this wonderful enterprise located in the middle of Wicklow town. With very tasty food and a good lively atmosphere, it made the whole experience very enjoyable.
First time visiting but I dont think so we will be back again. Waiting for order really long and food so so salty, I didnt enjoy hake strips same as my husband. After paying we let waitress to know that chef should reduce amount of...salt for dishes. Wouldn’t recommend.More
We visited for lunch, and we greeted by the staff, all very friendly and welcoming to begin with. I asked for a soya milk cappuccino, which I believe was served to me with regular milk. We ordered our food which was just soup and the...garlic and parmesan chips each, we were left waiting between 45-50 minutes for our food. Tables which ordered after us were all served first. The server asked us had we had our food yet, which I replied to and told her no, while stilling watching people who had ordered after us all be served. Then we were charged €32 for this .. when we questioned it we were told it was actually €29.. so we were given €3 cash back. It was a shame because the food was actually quite nice, but completely overpriced and a bad experience all round.More
We visited for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. The restaurant is very stylish, comfortable and clean. The staff are so so friendly and very informative and helpful. They have a beautiful menu the flavour combinations really Show the chef knows what they are doing. The...portions are generous and beautifully presented. We also brought our two year old daughter and they were very accommodating. Overall an amazing experience and a welcome delight for wicklow town. 100% would recommend.More
We had lunch there with delicious sandwiches and unusual drinks. Fast and friendly service. Due to the sudden downpour we enjoyed a coffee and a tasty carrot cake.
We popped into the cafe just before three on Thursday last, not realising they close at three. The staff were wonderful, even if they led me astray with a gorgeous cheesecake. No mention of their imminent closing, no rushing us to finish up, no deliberate...cleaning around us to hurry us along. As we were upstairs we had no idea they were closing until we went to leave and even then they said no problem, with a smile. Sorry for delaying you.More
We had a delicious lunch here today, friendly faced staff with warm hellos greeted us when we arrived. Our little daughter gobbled up her warm ham & cheese croissant.Food a plenty on our plates & a very large pot of tea to wash it down.Thank you S&E,we...shall be back!More
Myself my husband and two friends of ours went out for a meal on Friday night. From the time we arrived Luca met us and was so friendly. Brona was our server she was so polite and efficient. Andy was also so very friendly. We...didn’t realise it was tapas but it was such a lovely surprise. The food was absolutely amazing. We were full after it. Everything about the night was five star. We’ll definitely be back.More
I've had lunch and dinner here and the food was fantastic both times. Downstairs there's a service area with a great selection of sandwiches, rolls and salads along with a good selection of cakes and treats too but the dining area upstairs is worth a...visit on its own. Beautiful decor with the best music playing. If you happen to be in the arena I highly recommend a visit.More
