I visited on a Sunday afternoon and had a very nice set of scones with a perfect Macciato. My 9 year old daughter enjoyed beer hot chocolate very much too. Overall I would definitely recommend - great food, great location and friendly staff
Had a toasted sandwich outside recently. Lovely bread but barely any filling in the sandwich. Very disappointing. Also had a cupcake after which was tiny and a little stale if I’m honest. I hope they improve as the place has real potential.
Finally, after saying no to everywhere else in the town, we stopped at Sorrel and Eve for what we assumed would be the usual soggy sandwich and bitter coffee. What we weren't expecting was a cheese, tomato and onion toastie like my wife has ever...tasted, an amazing breakfast 'blaa' (a roll made in Wicklow) that was cooked to absolute perfection and the best coffee I have had in ages. Add to that the pleasant ambience they have created outside, the friendly and attentive staff and the value for money, we will be back to try their evening menu at the next opportunity!More
We have visited this cafe several times over June and July while on Breaks in Wicklow.
It's owner run by a lovely young woman. Very good choice of menu including great variety of salads. All made on site.
Colombian coffee superb. And fair prices. Asian...style chicken skewers and 2 salads 10 euro.
And a huge umbrella on the patio shelters from sun and rain.More
So, outside of a homemade BLT (where you can totally over endulge), the BLT on Blaa from Sorrel & Eve is fantastic. Lovely flavours, smoked bacon, fresh lettuce and superb tomatoes and not the type that are hard and cold that you'd get in most...cafes. Looking forward to returning for a meal post COVID lockdown. Very friendly staff also, so a huge recommendation from our side👍👍👍More
