Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here looking for a late lunch. The server was professional and friendly. We ordered and were quickly served. The food was excellent. I had the delicious vegetable soup and yummy garlic bread. My companion had eggs which were amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant...if you want delicious, reasonably priced food in a warm atmosphere.More

We had the most deliciously tasty breakfast here on the way home from a morning swim. I was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. I would highly recommend the Halpins Bridge Café. The outdoor dining area is most pleasant.

I always like sitting outside here and it’s very pleasant but what a pity about the coffee. We can get brilliant coffee in Wicklow now and so should Halpins.

Stopped in here for some lunch recently, it is an excellent spot on a sunny day with the seats outside. The food is lovely and very reasonable. The staff are very friendly, the day we called there was only one lady working and she was...run off her feet but she was really nice and very apologetic about the delay with the food. However, as the day was nice and the seats outside are in a nice location it was lovely.More

I was shocked at the level of incompetence here. The girl serving us had her visor on top of her head. The me yes were grubby and clearly not sanitised. Another waitress was eating behind the counter and never washed her hands to serve customers....Nothing about his visit was good to be honest. Never going back and I used to love this cafe.More

Apologies to hear that you did not enjoy your visit. Could you please tell me what day you were in so that I can properly address your experience with the staff that were rostered that day.

Stephen and Mel are always full of smiles and chat. The whipped coffee is sooo good. Perfect on a warm day for your coffee fix.

Off the main road through town, we happened upon this cafe at our late-lunch, early-dinner time of 3 pm. My friend (gluten intolerant) was able to enjoy soup, salad and home baked muffin. I continued my quest of the BLT - on whole wheat and...delish. Also on the menu was an after 2 pm special - any coffee drink and any dessert for €5! Cappuccino and chocolate cake - why not, I'm on vacation! 🍰More

This is a really good cafe to visit in Wicklow. Fresh food, good coffee, right near the river. In Ireland, scones are a good way to assess a cafe, and theirs are quite yummy.

Stopped in here for a bite to eat. They are very aware of gluten free and provide a range of options. Staff were sincere. Upon walking in, a staff wearing reindeer ears greeted us. Our waitress was lovely, honest and cheerful. The cafe is right...next to the river and the harbour, where the local attraction "Sammy" the seal makes an appearance 3 times a day. Completely recommend this quaint little town to all traveller's.More
