In these Covid times eating out is a gamble, so a takeaway was needed this Saturday night. Not familiar with the area, everyone we asked mentioned the other Indian restaurant but nobody knew anything about the Jausna. Up for the challenge we rang our order...through for dishes that weren't actually on the menu, including a matar paneer. 'No problem'. We were soon called back to say that they had no peas, which is a key ingredient, but would we accept saag? Disappointed, but sure why not. When we arrived, it was obvious that no indoor dining had taken place in a long while so a good freshen up is really needed. Anyway, we waited and suddenly this chap rushed in with a bag of peas that he handed over and soon the matar paneer (as per our order) arrived along with my chicken dhansak. The lady at the counter was so excited that they had made what we asked for and ... it was worth it. All was absolutely delicious and the best we have had in a very long time. The quality of the food and her enthusiasm guaranteed we will be back! Thank you.More

Got a takeaway off them this evening. Everything was spot on and the flavours authentically Indian. The bhindi bhaji reminded me of home cooked food in India. The Beef Bhuna had the right blend of spices. Thank you and I promise to be back when...indoor dine in opens. To my readers: if you reside in the Wicklow town area or if you are visiting Wicklow, do not give them a miss. A rare one.More

This is my first negative review. I normally only do reviews when I am really impressed with something - But this place - when you walk in, there is a bad smell... My take away was left on the side table at door where people...come in and out and it was an open bag (despite Covid) which I was pretty disgusted about. I came home and put it in the bin. Could not recommend this placeMore

Went here with the family for a meal and we were all happy with the great service and large selection on the menu. The food arrived quickly once we ordered. The sauces were tasty but a little bland.
