Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a fantastic experience with my ladies at Victorian Tea Times, Audrey and the girls were amazing, dressing us all in victorian dresses, pearls, hats and fans! We all looked fabulous and then had our afternoon tea, which was only delicious, all home made cakes,...scones and sandwiches, wash down with a lovely china cup of tea! Thank you from Nuala and the ladies from Bray knitting and crochet class!!!More

There were 6 of is and they made each and everyone of us very welcome and gave us all...the time we needed for dress up and photos. The costumes were fabulous. Our party of three attended for afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my sister. And what a treat it was! We were looking at over priced 5 star hotels but decided to try something a little different. Audrey and her staff are so friendly...and professional. The food generous and delicious. The chance to dress up for photos (optional) and eat in a setting that mimics the period was a whole new fun experience and at such a reasonable price. Can't recommend enough. Thank you for making it such a memorable birthday.More

Audrey is amazing. Such a good host. From the minute we walked through the door until we left two hours later we were spoilt rotten. Such fun dressing up in the gowns. She even persuaded us to do a walkabout out on the main Street!...The food itself was exquisite and so tasty. Audrey even made me vegan scones! A must visit if you happen to be in Arklow. It's an amazing getaway from the helter-skelter of the modern world. The moment you enter this cosy Tea Room, you feel as if you’ve moved to the different epoch filled with tinkling of the vintage porcelain, swooshing of the floral fans and ladies’ giggles. And...believe me they do have a lot to giggle about - they are dressed up in fancy dresses, colourful hats, sited on the slightly creaky chairs and are offered a cup of tea to hold. Alas, do not forget to stick the pinkie up! Even the most gracious stuff there maintains the illusion by wearing the outfits of the epoch. For those who like a bit of theatrical it’s a place of a great fun both for man & women alike. After the dressing up, the High Tea is being served – all the food is home made, all of it equally tasty – from savoury canapes, through fruity scones, jams, clotted cream to gorgeous cakes. My friend & I loved it to the core!! It’s been an experience that made us feel good! I can’t wait to come back for more fun!More
