After walking out of the Arklow Bay Hotel after very poor service , I found Christy’s bar in the centre of the town was serving food I was greeted by John at the bar and after taking my seat was brought a menu There was...a great choice of meals and I choose the Salt & Chilli Chicken The food arrived after a short wait and was delicious and the portion was more than I could finish The bar had a number of people in for drinks and some for food and were obviously regulars who know the barman by name Christy’s has a nice , relaxed atmosphere, with great food at reasonable prices and I would definitely go backMore

Had a lovely Irish coffee having come in out of wind and rain followed by on of the best chowders I have ever had. Full of salmon , muscles and more and so so tasty. Very reasonable at only €6.95. Very friendly and attentive staff...and relaxed atmosphere Left feeling warm and full.More

Was hoping to eat here on a recent visit to Arklow. On entering the premises I was shocked to see the amount of people there. No Social distance by customers, tables on top of one another Definitely no care or attention taken to protect people....I’m a front line worker, & couldn’t wait to get out. I saw enough, Hope no one contacts CovidMore

We booked here after reading good reviews but failed to see that they were written pre covid. Premises should be closed down. No social distancing at all. One way in people lined in door ways. Tables ontop of each other. Some staff had no face...coverings of any discrimination. We were shown to our table which actually had food still on it. It was no way wiped down never mind sanitised. We had very hungry children with us so we endured a terrible meal for their sakes. It was dreadful. Sent most of the food back. Awful awful place. Total disrespect for front line workers.More

Rang and booked a table for two. Was fantastic from start to finish. Aiofe and Chloe could not have been more helpful. Their customer service skills were second to none. Both myself and my partner were so pleased with the food. So nice. Lovely place...to eat on a stop to Arklow. Thank youMore

I love this place. Contemporary bar, very clean and cosy. We come here cause the food is just beyond amazing. They have simple pub dishes with a twist and every single time it is soooooo delicious! I cant say enough how much I love it...there.More

A busy spot! Really good food, scrummy lemon drizzle cake, friendly service. My steak ciabata was a bit fatty but very tasty. Would go back.

Seems like there is parking on the street. Not sure about other options as I do not know the town well. We were staying in the hotel and we moved around on foot.
